Skype exhausts our data, especially on android phone. I only make calls on Skype with my office WiFi.

how do u make calls wit ur data?
anyone that has fb messenger (Android or ios) can call me and I can call also, it's actually cheaper to call with it. I called a friend for over 9minutes and less than 10mb was removed, so it's relatively cheaper, compared to using airtime, the only glitch is that it's subject to data speed

yes, but if your Mb finishes and you're still calling your airtime will be zapped

I Installed it at the instant of a recruiter for an upcoming interview and tested the video call out...it was sweet! With Glo 3gb data for only 1k it's a really cost effective way for keeping in touch across borders. I enjoin more people to try it out!

Simple answer

Data /MB is quite expensive

Video /voice call over internet sucks data

There are alternatives , BBM , whatsapp , you can send voice notes and videos and moments

Skype video and voice calls works best with STABLE 3.75 or 4G network which is scarce. What's the fun if your calls freeze up ?

Finally Something about Skype makes it look expensive to use , Nigerians not very familiar with the interface / don't know its free
