We will continue to be like this until we begin to appreciate ourselves, we think the whites have technology, technical know-how, but I can tell you we are better than them, Two expertriates were working on one of our company equipment after 3days they said the equipment can't work again DAT it is nw junk and we overheard them saying we the local contents can't do it, one of them spent about 15 years in world number one oil servicing company, after they have failed, me with one of my guy we did DAT equipment under few hours without stress and same equipment working perfectly confirmed by our boss.
These are the people that their daily pay is more than our monthly salary, they will be the one to conduct interview for but they will tell you are not technically sound so who is fooling who?
Let no man under rate you, you can do it, you are the best and you are one of ur kind!!!!! I have spoken!!!
cool grin cheesy

True talk OP. The Expatriates would even try to discourage you or place question marks on your work just to ensure it doesn't see the light of day. Some don't even want you to know what they know, especially as understudy. Lol. Reminds me of a story I was told by my boss of how some Nigerians were taken abroad for technology/knowledge transfer, they got there and the only thing they were taught was AutoCAD. Lol.
