An Abia State High Court sitting in Igbere on Friday vacated its earlier order which restrained the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief Victor Umeh, from parading himself as the party’s national chairman.

The same Court had on Wednesday ordered Umeh to stop parading himself as the APGA National Chairman, pending the hearing and determination of a motion on notice filed by five members of the party.

Justice U. Ononogbo, according to the order obtained by Journalists in Abuja, gave the order and directed that the order should be served at APGA headquarters in Abuja by pasting the court processes at the party headquarters.

He also ordered that the court processes should be served on Independent National Electoral Commission headquarters, Abuja.

The court, however, adjourned the matter till December 18, 2014.

After hearing the oral application by counsel to Umeh and APGA, O.J. Nnadi and taking judicial notice of exhibits attached to the application, Justice Ononogbo held that he was misled into granting the earlier order.

Chief Victor Umeh seems to be a cat with nine lives, first it was long and multiple litigations against him by former National Chairman of the party, Chekwas Okorie, one after the other he kept winning all fronts
