Your visa interview is just one of many steps. Visa approval is not an assurance for entry into the US. You'll still face the immigration scrutiny at the port of entry; something like another brief interview/ questions

I'm currently applying to Oklahoma state, University of Alaska Fairbanks (m.sc economics), IUP. I'll deeply appreciate if any of the gurus will please suggest one or two 'generous and not too selective school' that will give this negro some sort of funding. I'll deeply appreciate it and if you consider this question redundant, forgive me.

Yes you can. I applied for my visa from the US and it was approved within 6 days however, I did not get the stub until about 2weeks after.
Just go to the cic.gc.ca website, fill in the questionaire and you will be advised on what to do.

You book a date first,then you click on emergency request from there you will be directed on the next step but make you have your i-20 because you will be ask to upload it.

Morning to u all.Pls I filled 16th jan of my intended date of arrival in my ds160 and my interview is 13th of jan.I jst got a mail from d sch cz I requested for letter of extension.D sch official has sent d letter yesterday dat I can resume on 23th cz d sch commencement date on my i-20 is 20th but freshman orientation starts on 14th-16th.Pls should I leave d ds160 like dt or I shuld go n make corrections.Thanks

Since you have an extension letter from the school don't tamper with your interview date. Take the letter along and explain IF the VO talk about it.

Well; if you get an earlier date is fine and if not, you r still good! Extension letter from school already covered it all. VO probably won't talk about it as they r more interested in your intention and eligibility. I suggest you should focus more on how to portray yourself to the VO than worrying about resumption date. Remember you already have a letter from school. All the best
