He is one of them. A robber pretending to grow financially under false agenda. If indeed this guy criticizing Buhari is more than a millionaire how did he start making his money. What was his start-up capital, how did his business grow to make him multi-millionaire, can he bring out his accounts prepared by honest practicing firm of accountants which were delivered to the tax authority and receipts of taxes paid.
This man must be a fool. Somebody was a former head of state with that small sizeable assets and this nuisance is condemning him having retired. It is only a poor spirited person after retirement that will continue to struggle. His age mate in their struggles have died because of lack of contentment.
So you want him to be like other military Head of State who stole us clean after Gowon. You must be a daft. Please withhold your one vote and let God change Nigeria for good through him/

Abbey or what ,go back and read the interview to understanding .The problem with us is when the country itself take a step forward the so called elite takes five steps backwards.The man had exonarated himself by saying he is not an economist,the more reason your job application might serve a purpose.when chief Awolowo was both the action group leader and head of government bussiness how many times did he handle or mention money,the simple thing the general was saying was that he will live by exampl all you need to do is be patient, we still in the euphoria of his wining the primaries ,we want the never do wells to back off for now.

Asset declaration does not imply that you cannot be a millionaire, or billionaire. The purpose is to make sure that if you ever hold public office you don’t amass more millions or billions through corruption of your office. People have forgotten that Yaradua had to force Jonathan to declare his assets. Since becoming President Jonathan has refused to declare his assets even though it is required in the constitution.. And when he was questioned about it, Jonathan infamously said “I don’t give a damn”. And he has infamously declared that “Stealing is not corruption”. Nigeria is a conglomerate of peoples, some of who have a very rudimentary idea of the moralities and principle demands of leadership. With the unalloyed defense the Delta Ijaws have been giving to their son, it is sad to note that we are dealing with a people who demand neither morality or principle from a leader, or their idea of leadership is just as fluid as their watery enclave. Jonathan’s fake PhD from the University of Port Harcourt is another emblem of the moral muddiness of the Delta!

Mr. Abbey, is speaking like a paid idiot and political sycophant. Either he has just landed from Mars or is decidedly ignorant. While I do not necessarily endorse Mr. Buhari (at least until I learn of his agenda for Nigeria), he at least has a credible record to run on. He ruled Nigeria once, and never was accused of fraud or crime. He managed the Petroleum Trust Fund and never was found negligent or fraudulent. Asset declaration while not a proof of moral uprightness is a common denominator that can be verified and vetted.
If an aspiring office holder refuses to do that, then he has no credibility. And to those who use religion as a wedge issue in Nigeria to scare their folks, I neither consider Mr. Jonathan religious or moral. Note that Nigeria has been ruled by Muslims in the past and never turned Sharia. I would argue that if Mr. Buhari were interested in an Islamic Nigeria, the better time to actualize it was as a military leader with his #2 guy as a Muslim too and with no constitutional checks/balances. For Nigeria to insist on the present political/economic rot called Jonathan’s government is to seal fate. For the record, I am Ibo, and neither PDP nor APC, but a clear eyed observer of Nigeria’s political adventure. We southerners have clamored for years about being shut out of political power by the north to the detriment of economic development in the south. We have had our chances in the sun and proved we cannot govern. We do not in my opinion deserve to be trusted with government until someone else has had a chance to govern. It is a pity no one from the middle belt is positioned to jockey for power this time. of all our leaders, past and present, it is arguable that Gen. Gowon outperformed all of them by any measure. Much of what we have today by way of infrastructure was began during his government. It is sad to note how little the clock of progress has moved since then.

A comedian is a person who twists any issue to entertain his/her audience, puts a smile on their faces. A good comedian teaches normalcy. What does this comedian teach? Figure it out, and leave him as he is. He wants to sound funny, but when a comedian throws ethics into the ocean and the audience is constituted by wise people, no no one hears applause.
