While Soyinka might a literary genius in his academic field, as an intellectual, he is highly overrated, and an embarrassment to those of us who eagerly look up to him for higher intellectual outputs.

At 80 I hope Wole Soyinka will have a good comeback to give this cocoyam farmer aka OBJ. I don't like either of them, but Obasanjo shouldn't have wasted a book hurling insults. He has forever toned down the historical and literary value of the book. He could have just said all this in an article.
