vedaxcool:Regrettably, it turned out that Major-General Muhammadu Buhari was too rigid and uncompromising in his attitudes to issues of national significance. Efforts to make him understand that a diverse polity like Nigeria required recognition and appreciation of differences in both cultural and individual perceptions, only served to aggravate these attitudes. - IBB's Coup address on overthrowing the Buhari govt. IBB even described your messiah as stubborn, arrogant, clueless and sectional. |

Nasir El-Rufai 29. September 2010 · “I was 25 years old when Buhari and Babangida were Heads of State and I am now 50 and they still want to be Head of State. I don’t understand that. I don’t understand that at all and I call on the young people of Nigeria to take their future into their hands and ensure that in the next election, they vote for a new generation of leaders." |

biafranqueen:Ok, lemme give you an example, when Fashola came in and started with differnt policies, from the demolition of houses to multi-taxation and the likes, did it affect some people? I realy sympathazi with you concerning the issue of GMB and your family, but it shouldnt be taken personal dear, look at the greater part of it in Nigeria. I was very young during his tenure, but iwhen i ask elders about buhari, it is all good good good. No one is a saint sis, its all there in the annals of Nigeria. True, i have a right to be the president, but this isnt about age,it is about experience, why not consider coming down to nigeria and start a campaign about it, you would be surprised as to how many people would follow you ideologies. Check my previos posts and you will see how i have been a voice. You can be that vouce. Like i said, kalu is there, why not talk about him. IT IS NOT NOT THE LOAD THAT BREAKS THE NECK, IT IS HOW YOU CARRY IT. |

Buhari is known to constantly cede his authority to those around him and remain a figure head. “As military Head of State, it is well known that Major-General Buhari ceded much of his authority to his second in command (a fellow Muslim and an officer junior to him) Brigadier Tunde Idiagbon. Idiagbon it was who came to own and personify much of what the regime stood for until they were thrown out of power. “Similarly, as head of the Petroleum Trust Fund, Buhari was in the dark about much of the operations of the organisation; he ceded his powers to the consultants he appointed (Afri-Projects, a firm owned by his relative). They proceeded to award billions of Naira worth of projects overwhelmingly in the North to the exclusion, and anger of much of Southern Nigeria. “Once again, Buhari is showing that he is weak and beholden to Bola Tinubu who moved the APC national convention away from the nation’s capital, to his home base in Lagos. If there was any reason at all to move the party’s convention from the nation’s capital, why not move it to any of the states controlled by the APC in the South-East, North-East or South-South? This would have had the advantage of broadening the appeal of the party and addressing the charge that it is simply a South-West / North-West party.” “When all is said and done, it appears certain, despite denials, that the choice of General Buhari’s vice-presidential candidate is not Buhari’s to make but will be the choice of Bola Tinubu; and all of us are now waiting on Tinubu to name his (Buhari’s) running mate. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/news/national-news/190206-tinubu-delays-buhari-s-decision-on-vp |

THE REFINERIES WE HAVE NOW, IT WAS WHOSE TENURE AS PTF CHAIRMAN? AND PLEASE LET ME TAKE YOU BACK TO HISTORY. IT IS ON THE RECORD THAT, JUST LIKE OBJ, GMB WAS NOT A COUP LEADER, GEN ABACHA SANNI LED THE COUP THAT OVERTHREW SHAGARI AND GMD WAS DRAFTED TO BECOME HEAD OF STATE |

Horlawoomey:You elected not to add that your Oga infamously asserted that Abacha was not corrupt. Mind you that he is yet to retract the statement. A kingsize credibility issue, if you ask me. Buhari toppled a democratically elected government on a supposed bid to stem corruption. However, he has to be held accountable for indirectly foisting the diabolical scourges of Babangida and Abacha on Nigeria. He came to treat the patient of migraines but ended up leaving the patient with a near fatal brain damage. |

mcfynest:My Dear I have already started, my first priority is my own state, from that I can focus on the rest of Igboland piece by piece. You know what they say charity began at home. When Peter Obi was messing up I finished him to his face, online and in community meetings. If you check it I exposed Obi for the mall he built in Abuja and the money his little brother was smuggling out. I am no nonsense when it comes to truth. Have your heard GMB speak please listen to him in recent interviews and tell me if you really hear a progressive leader with strategy and know how. Who your elders are praising is is Vice President, the real action man that had to be lured out of the country before the coup could succeed. You should do some more research. I use to think like you until, my research cut through the Presidential propaganda. I even made a thread back in the day about it. Why do you think Fela called him a beast in human skin? |

biafranqueen:Now you mixing DEMOCRACY with another system entirely. Why do we have special advisers? Why do we have law makers, ministers, perm sec and the rest? reason is for different opinions to be tabled and the leader takes the best which he thinks suits him the most/best solves the situation @ hand. Idiagbon wouldnt have been an island as many people believe, he had advisers also and it was GMB who brought this folks together (you remember late Dora?) And buhari would have given the go ahead cos the brig was an active man ready to please his boss. So who should recieve the praise? Buhari or idiagbon? Ibama or the chirf of staffs? Emancipate yourself dear |

mcfynest:You need to free yourself from the media driven propaganda. A year after, when Chief Olusegun Obasanjo became the President and reportedly needed someone he can trust to clean the mess in Nigeria’s drug market, news got to him, Kolawole said from Buhari himself, that there was one honest Nigerian pharmacist that should be able to do the job. The story of her honest act in PTF was told to Obasanjo and Obasanjo decided to go with her, defying advice from some people within presidency who believed that being an Igbo woman, Akunyili was the last person to be considered for the job of cleaning the Augean stable in a market dominated her tribesmen. The rest is history. Obasanjo’s choice paid off. Her performance turned out to be probably the best from any appointed public servant in Nigeria since 1999.So because he recommended Dora to OBJ I should vote for him what are you saying? |

Firefire:The man that registered Nigeria as a member of the OIC is a member of the pdp board of trustee. The pdp national chairman today introduced sharia law in Bauchi state in 2001. The vice president of the pdp was accused of knowing about the romance between Senator Ndume and boko haram. The former National Security Adviser to Jonathan told the world that boko haram is a pet of the pdp. The presidential panel set up by Jonathan to look into the pre election crisis of 2011 told the world that the INTERNAL WRANGLING in the pdp coupled by the failure of the pdp led government to punish those that commits crimes in the past was responsible for the 2011 pre election crisis. Senator Zannah whose nephew a boko haram kingpin was arrested in his house is a pdp member. The former ambassador to Sao Tome who was linked to boko haram was also a pdp member. Those that threatened to make the country ungovernable if the north did not produce the presidential candidate of the pdp in 2011 because of the ogboni arrangement in the pdp called zoning was and still a pdp member LAWAL KEITA. Nigerians that have not sole their conscience to pettiness and sentiments know those behind boko haram. |
