Yes @snappyfingaz ,just got it

Hi all,
finally got the refusal package and the reasons are...

Travel history,
length of proposed stay,
purpose of visit,
current employment situation,
personal assets and financial status

I learnt from this thread that length of proposed stay and purpose of visit are almost the same thing..it has to do with the program and the program duration i "THINK" a convincing sop should sort that(pls let me knw if y'all think otherwise)

Who knows how I can tackle the current employment situation as I am serving presently but can't state it because I'm batch b and it ends in july and my resumption date is may 5(I dnt intend finishing nysc)

Personal Assets and financial status ...who knws what and what I can use for personal assets and I really dnt understand the financial status, are they interested in my personal SOA(that one na gobe o,na so so nysc allowee dey there o) or they just want an upgrade in my sponsor 's SOA

Everyone's opinion and idea is highly welcomed as no amt of info is wasted

God bless you all

oh gal try defer to sept fall semester...It wud b kinda absurd to study for gud 4yrs n decide not to finish ur service before proceeding to anoda country to study..my thot anyway

I think it's too early mailing them,we just did the medical test last week Thur & Fri,i believe we should give them a little space...

From the trend here, paper route can be slightly slower than Online route. Let's see what happens this week. Keep the faith!

Kabosky1956:
@jaylinaaa...I used Paper route. How is it possible to get info from VFS,i don't think it's obtainable and you know it's been processed in Accra. God that kept me sane till now will perfect it-will wait till the end of the week and see!!!

God am very grateful for remembering me in my low estate grin..(THANK GOD) emailed to collect my passport today that it's approved...And I pray those that are awaiting theirs', the God Almighty who as helped me will bring an end to your sadness and make your visa processing approved in Jesus name.Amen.
I would like to say this "believe in yourself there is no limit to what you can achieve". Always put God first, because he his the one that can make the impossible possible, and make way for one where there seems to be no way.
Thank you GOD for turning my bitter experience into sweet experience. Am very grateful God
wishing everyone in this thread the very best.amen

@blink6 I think it might be a little too early to start bombarding them with emails. We only just did medicals last week and got responses faster than usual. Also, they probably have a timeline for these things so I think waiting for a few days more might be the best bet.

(Let someone not look too eager. I mean we are but let's hide it small)

@opsynusy...sorry abt the delay...will advice u defer ur admission to sept,so u can be able to finish ur NYSC...it will help u a lot in ur next application since u r a fresher,u don't need much in tackling the issue of current employment situation,ur SOP can do justice to that by relating it to the experience gotten during ur NYSC,include where u did ur PPA,job responsibilities,if ur CDS is a bit related to ur intended course of study write it there and even put ur CDS cert.join sef,ur reasons for choosing canada,as well the institution u r going to,how u intend implementing the knowledge gained when u come bk to Nigeria,ur mission and vision...(just tips in writing ur next SOP)or either ways if u can get recommendation for offer letter fine...as for personal asset add ur sponsor's landed properties...u will be fine.

@opsynusy:NOT submitting your NYSC could have impacted negatively on your application if you where going for further studies based in part on your Nigerian 1st degree credentials. Defer as appropriate and re-fire. Success I yours the next time (amen)

If i may ask, according to those that applied through paper route seems to be the same as online route. Please how many weeks does it take the paper route now to be ready?

Pls this is not true, nysc did not impact negatively in the application, I know peeps that applied without nysc certificate.. What if her ppa isn't related to what she wants to study? Nysc certificate is not one of the compulsory documents for applying for trv

What if her CDs or ppa isn't related to her intended course of study? Won't it further complicate matters for her, there should be other ways to tackle it asides uaing nysc. I agree with her adding sponsors landed properties.. BTW opsynusy, you didn't list the documents you submitted alongside
