Obiagelli:I took u as an intelligent guy but you are leeting me down. First, The abuja to kaduna railway system built by gej. So the minister of transport should take the glory leaving non to gej who signed. The refinery stuff was signed by the head of state when buhari was a petroleum comissioner. When buhari became the head of state, how many refinery did he award. Meanwhile, the second niger bridge is with a new design cutting through undeveloped area of asaba nd anambra. |

chamboy:The Obasanjo that probed the PTF account who came out the certify Buhari as the only Public official in Nigeria. Though Buhari ran against him in 2003, he still maintained that Buhari is corrupt-free.... Hear him "Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the SMC & as the head of the petroleum dept was by nature taciturn & introvert. But he took any work given to him very seriously & if he failed at whatever he did, it would not be because he did not put his best, in fact, his very best. He was as reliable as he was hard working & HONEST"- President Segun Obasanjo, In His Book "NOT MY WILL" |

laBarca:I just dey laff self..... He was the head of state for 1 nd half years. 1. Show us the evidence that buhari signed the building of the refinery. 3. to whom should the glory be to; the head of state or the minister. 4. That means that every road built on lagos, the commissioner of work owes the glory. 5. At least with the knowledge he have as a petroleum minister, he should have awarded one petrol chemical industries. |

Curlieweed:If you can't find that intelligent point then you may be dammed... Someone was suggesting sending the refined products via pipelines and I ask, at what cost? Which is more expensive? 1. Using one pipe to transport crude ( which isn't that attractive to bunkerers inland); or 2. Having several pipes, each transporting products ranging from gas to engine oil, needing a more complicated flow system and becoming a meal ticket for amateur and professional fuel thieves? Many Nigerians like yourself know how to talk and argue more than think deeply. For your sake I hope you won't be dammed. |

laBarca:---------------------------------------------------------- Which one preceeded the other: NOT MY WILL or the probe? I hope you know that NOT MY WILL was published in 1990 and if PTF was probed it must have been after May 29, 1999 when Obasanjo became a civillian president. Now, I hope you know that : -Danjuma's impression of Obasanjo in 1999 is not the same in 2014 - Obasanjo's impression of Jonathan in 2007 is not the same in 2014 -Tinubu's inpression of Obanikoro in 1999 is not the same in 2014 Your point would have been valid if NOT MY WILL was written after the PTF probe (if any). Besides, Obasanjo in what you quoted was talking about the Buhari who worked under him. that is Buhari as a follower. He was not giving the opinion on Buhari as a Nigerian leader In Obasanjo's latest book, MY WATCH, he never made reference to Buhari's HONESTY or otherwise. However, he made reference to Buhari as leader -- in comparism to Jonathan. He said that Buhari would offer strong leadership (I don't dispute this) but that he(Buhari)would be a bad manager of the economy (I don't dispute this either). If Obasanjo still had the impression that Buhari was still honest, he would have restated that observation in his latest memoir, MY WATCH. By not restating that, it means there is 'K-leg' there. Now, offering strong leadership does not mean the same with honesty. Obasanjo, Abacha and IBB all offered strong leadership. Did they offer honesty? You may answe that. I think the mistake the Buharistans make is to sell Buhari with lies, attributing to him what he is not, what he can never be and what he can't do. Rather than sell him with so much lies, I think they can harp on what many people believe he can do that may not be disputable: Strong Leadership. That way, it makes more sense. But the more the criminal coupist is sold as MR PERFECT, SAINT, INCORRUPTIBLE, the more the sellers shoot themselve on the foot. |
