See how smart our politicians are. They throw the 'religion bone' to the masses to keep them busy and possibly deceive even the very elite while their focus is our treasury. This people are ready to do ANYTHING that will give them power. We experimented with this pastor thing in 2011 and it didn't work. They should have gone for the GO of one of the churches again and let's see what happens. The Presidential candidate should be our focus and not his spare Tyre unless they already know what we don't know. 1 Like |

Frankiss44: What concerns my family with what I have stated above. You delight so much in others dying just like you rejoice as Northerners are dying up North and you claim your region are christians. As a Christian I did not find that in my Bible. If a leader can not protect the lives of his citizens regardless of their ethnicity he's a big failure. Here in the states Governors have resigned over the death of just one person not to talk of thousands and you are here telling Buhari boys will go on rampage. Are all fingers not pointing to PDP as the sponsors of Boko Haram. People within the party have been identifies as sponsors and even their recruits have mentioned people within PDP so you can't deceive me with lies. I was not a small boy when Buhari ruled so I know him and I'm alive today to compare both of them. |

musiwa94: Apparently you are a poorly informed errand boy of the PDP and TAN. Lagos state has been offering the best free education to all Nigerian children for decades. What President Goodluck Jonathan and his predecessors could not do as governors of Bayelsa State with the state capital Yenagoa looking like Ajegunle in Lagos. State Government Rehabilitates 5,090 Schools In Five Years The Lagos State Government on Friday said it had renovated more than 5,090 primary and secondary schools in the last five years. Gov. Babatunde Fashola disclosed this at Ikotun at an event to mark his 1,900 days in office. The governor was represented by Mr Tunji Bello, Commissioner for the Environment. Fashola said thAT 3,052 blocks of classrooms were also constructed within the period. “‘We have also installed 170 science laboratories in 170 schools, while 120 laboratories have been provided in 120 schools; 119,837 pieces of furniture were also provided in primary and secondary schools. “The whole idea of all of these interventions is to enhance the standard of teaching and learning with a view to boosting students’ academic performance. “And the improved performance of our students in the last WAEC examination clearly shows that all our interventions in the education sector have not been in vain,”he said. He disclosed that 2,051 teachers were recruited to reduce teacher-pupil ratio and make teaching more effective. The governor urged residents to support the government in its effort to transform the sector by paying their taxes. Earlier, Bello said the state government decided to take the event commemorating its 1,900 days to the grassroots, to bring the government closer to the people. “Organising this occasion simultaneously at the three senatorial districts of the state and not at the traditional venue – the state secretariat — is to bring government closer to the people and understand them. “‘The government is committed to delivering more dividends of democracy. We want to listen to you and serve you better and that is why we are here,” the commissioner said. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Head of Service, Mr Adesegun Ogunlewe, commissioners, council chairmen and other officials attended the event.

Hence nigeria has being governed for 15 years under democratic rules by only PDP over 40 trillion naira has being spent by the PDP government so far. Looking at this huge budget it will be worthy to compare our achievements with countries that started from the root as our democracy. Let's compare Dubai 1990-2005 that is 15 years and Nigeria 1999-2014 which is also 15 years too. In 1990 Dubai was more like a desert you can google that and in 2005 we all saw the transformation in Dubai Can we then compare this to 15 years of PDP rule? What am saying here is that PDP has under performed, whatever they have achieved till date we ought to have surpass it by 500%. Corruption has being the cancer eating Nigeria up and PDP has being supervising it. Its time we vote for CHANGE !!! Vote Buhari/Osibanjo 2015 PS: the real reality now in abuja is that Lots of cars now buy 500 naira fuel for cars and Jeeps More houses are in the market for rent and sale (no client) More of the cases in court are on landlords and tenant (unpaid rent dispute) More people find it hard to pay their children school fees Feeding is relatively difficult So much for our theoretical GDP by the minister of finance 1 Like |
