Example of free verse As i was walking down the road, Thinking at the sight of a toad, As it hopped over a pool of water, Wondering if life was so easy, That one can hop over any challenge, Without pain, Without strain, With just aim, With just ease. But life itself, Is not a bed of roses, But oneself, Must find his path like moses. |

franklyn009: you are free to ask. we are still going to talk abt rhymes in subsequent classes. Meanwhile, d rhyme in a poem still depends on d types of poetry. Each type has its own method and rules. |

harrysterol:it does not matter. What matters is the acronymic value of the poem. The first leta of each line makes up the acronym. |

FINALLY FOR TODAY RENGA Renga, means 'linked poem'. Poets work in pairs or small groups, taking turns composing the alternating three-line and two-line stanzas. To create a Renga, one poet writes the first stanza , which is three lines long with a total of seventeen syllables – the same structure as a haiku. The next poet adds the second stanza, a couplet with seven syllables per line. The third stanza repeats the structure of the first (another haiku) and the fourth repeats the second, alternating in this pattern until the poem is completed. |

Mr leki10 I have a question Please anytime we write a poem, since we are just learners..can you let us know what type of poetry it is? Sometimes we just write without knowing the type,it should help us improve... Thank you. |

Example of Renga The final leaf falls, (5) The tree branches are so bare, (7) Autumn has arrived. (5) Remember Summer's warm kiss, (7) So gentle, it will be missed. (7) As the leaves rustle, And the feet also cracks them, As we surged forward, The tornado blew very strong, As we all scurried along. |
