The Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission will
on Tuesday approve a new electricity tariff, despite
the consistent drop in power supply across the
country. NERC chairman, Dr. Sam Amadi, who said this in
Abuja on Tuesday, assured consumers that the
increase in tariff in the new rate, would not affect
consumers in residential places for six months

It is the masses that will now bear the brunt,after donation of #500 million to Jonathan re-election by the Power sector.
These politicians have bled the poor masses to a state of anaemia.

Please o, what's the latest amount of MW of electricity we are generating as at today ? cos me no dey get light pass 4 hrs a day in my area in Lagos.

I don't see an average nigerian surviving the second coming of this crook called jonathan.

How can any sane person increase electricity tarrif when we are already paying so much for so little? I think it's about time Nigerians take to the streets and protest this indiscriminate increase in electricity tarrif!

Tell me how the price of goods and services will not continue to sky rocket. Sad development for consumers indeed!

the 750 Naira is the most annoying,have got two generators,and an inverter yet thus people bring crazy bills,and they went ahead to donate money for election campaign? I honestly don't care if they are giving it to Buhari or Gej,but this are the same people that were crying that they don't have funds and government guaranteed them to have access to have bank credit,in essence if they can't pay back government has to pay through our taxes and ND oil tax royalties.God please save us.
