The Gunners are the most popular English team on the social networking website, narrowly leading Chelsea, but still trail Real Madrid and Barcelona by some distance Arsenal has become the first Premier League side to reach five million followers on Twitter. The milestone was reached on Monday as the Gunners trumped Chelsea - who boast around 4,800,000 followers - to the figure. Arsenal, though, remain some way off frontrunners Real Madrid and Barcelona, who can count just under 14,000,000 fans each on the social networking website.
