I do hope someone out there in the Ministry of External Affairs, the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties in the Presidency, NEMA as well as The National Security Adviser [NSA] are listening and watching the events as they unfold in Gabon.....
The ground work for the zenophobic attack on Nigerians resident in Gabon is been laid......they killings would sooner than later start....We need to get the Gabonese authorities to start offering us their assurances that they would do more to protect the lives, properties and interests of Nigerian Nationals in their country, whilst putting in place the modalities for the evacuation of our compatriots should things get ugly out there and out of control....

How are we sure that the Northern leaders rulling us from 1960 aren't from Chad, Niger or neighbouring countries?
^^^If one is prepared to trace a bit further back, i'm sure there's a possibility of linking Buhari with the Futa-Djallon highlands! smiley

There has been deep rooted speculations over the nationality of the Gabonese president - Ali Bongo, with many claiming that he is of Nigerian descent. Presently there is crisis in the Central African country and part of the grievances is that they cannot have a foreigner (Nigerian) ruling them.

Links to the current crisis can be found below:

..............It is important to include in this report that President Ali Bongo had filed in France a complaint against Pierre Pean author of a book defending the theses that he is of Nigerian heritage.

It's possible that we might have Governors originally from Gabon in Nigeria especially in the North but no one is crying.

Nice observation; however, the comparison is inequal and uneven. This is like comparing Jonathan with Obama. You see! The levels of development, growth pattern, environmental factors, mental, social, psychological and intellectual growth and development are not the same. It is like comparing sleep with death. America and some other countries are regarded as developed countries, cos they are. However, most African countries were regarded as undeveloped but later changed to developing just to accord some level of respect to us. But it does not change the fact that many African countries walk with their brains on the grounds and think with their legs up. Refusing to grow and develop by refusing to think rationally and intellectually, just like these folks are now doing.

If these guys want to stage a protest against the incumbent, it should not be because of this flimsy excuse. But then, what can I say? We are good in leaving substance and chasing after shadows in this part of the world.

It has happened! Was Abacha a Nigerian? Where in Kano is his family qtrs. and lineage? The parents were settlers from neighbouring arab nation and they settled in Fegge Qtrs in Kano where VISITORS, mostly Arabs settle because they are not allowed to live in the "City" called BIRNI where the SON OF THE SOIL resides because of family lineage and ownership of land. The older generaton know this truth. Nobody really cares because of religion. This is common place in the north

Obama is an American citizen by two simple facts...backed up by US law.

1.He was born on American soil....Hawaii (which became the 51'st state of America two years before he was born).

2.His mother is American....which also entitles him to citizenship.

Gabon follows different citizenship laws.
Obama was not born in Hawaii, he was born in Kenya. The birth certificate he presented was a forgery, even his paternal grandmother confess to being there when he was born in Kenya. His wife Michelle also said he was born in Kenya, so technically he is ineligible to be the US president, but was imposed on the American public by the powers that be.
