Ha ha, no amount of job will pay as much/well as millitancy or insurgency.
Do you think tgise Niger delta boys get paid peanuts to down arms?
If the BK warlords get paid as well Asari and Ateke with their foot soldiers are paid. Then they may consider giving up on fighting.
But why settle for peanuts when you can get the whole country and own the whoke national cake?
Our governments are stupid. Just keep pushing the youths to the wall, one day, our youths will see that only the wicked and heartless get paid and then, it will be too late to calm them down by offering peanuts.
Now that they are asking for simple things its is the best time the government should try to meet those requests, when there are 200 different groups fighting for power, then we will see how the government will lure them back to normalcy by offering 15-30k jobs when they get better pay by being millitants/ criminals, they rape any woman they fancy, the command fear and respect from the people and the government honours their call. How can you satisfy those needs with such misreable jobs?
Its not too late sha. The government can still prevent that stage from developing.

Nice strategy even though he is entitled to his opinon and is not the mouth piece of the apc headquaters nor is he gmb mouthpiece. The idea is nice, if niger delta militants where given jobs to end militancy,and it worked, i think it would be ok to give this a try and keep them busy. I think this justifies GMB who some people think sponsors Bh. people would have thought that if gmb wins naturally the bh sect would cease automatically but it not so. Becos he isnt their sponsor that is the more reason GMB would have to source for a plan as this to stop them. This is why i love apc everybody like this man is bringing up ideas and plans that could solve the Bh mess. I wish they could lend an option to our president who seem so confused and had battled with 'carrot and stick' problem for 4years.
