Oga mi sir, I am volunteering. My salary is the experience I acquire which I will use to get a well paid Job in the future. Thats why i am looking for challenging and difficult work. You may want to consider following thesame plan if you dont have enough work experience.

I will also not mind a volunteer job in the interim, months have just been rolling over months since after service.

I am a graduate of Industrial Safety Engineering Tech. frm PTI, also, I'm a CAD operator (both autoCAD and archicad). nice thread @op, am also in search for where to volunteer and just get busy, I reside in Port harcourt, studied human Physiology, but developing skills on IT gradually. Currently running a PGD program in computer science in Uniport (thurs and fri), and will be willing to put the whole stuff into practice immediately... Also in graphics designing and photoeditting.. With 2.1 in mathematics you can easily get a scholarship abroad. Just take GRE (subject based), if you perform well, many universities abroad will give you offers.

I've been to a company in Ikeja but was not even granted an audience.
I studied Economics but my strength lies more in Office Administration and/or Customer Experience.
I greatly desire a volunteer job in either of these fields around Ikeja or its axis; this is due to the fact that I stay in Ketu.

You should keep volunteering or working for free as a graduate and get broke every month. While uneducated ones keep making money with their handiwork or skills. If you are a graduate and you can't get a job with your degree, go and learn a skill and create a job for yourself. Certificate will not put food on your table but skills. Thats why uneducated ones are self employed and dont complain about unemployment. Must you enslave yourself to organisation in the name of volunteering? Sooner, organisation will even start collecting registration money from you guys before you can volunteet for them. Pathetic bunch of paper graduate. @op, be careful what you ask for. Beware of being used and dumped, some Nigerian companies do not follow ethics. What you should look for is graduate internship not volunteering unless if you are targeting NGOs. You can land graduate internship position by cold calling and also by applying. All you need is to be courageous and know your worth.
