Please explain to me why a normal human being would behead his fellow brother, or murder over 120 young children if not due to religious beliefs and all.

You call urself a Christian yet you have clearly shown you know nothing abt bible let alone christianity. let me ask you...do Christians marry more than one wife? (something allowed in the times of the Old testament). Do christians follow the mosaic law to d letter like the days in d Old testament??

Let me remind you (since its clear your intention is to make ur muslim friends feel gud abt themselves) that Jesus was the originator/first teacher of the practise of 'turning the other cheek' a far cry from the 'eye for an eye' teachings in the old testament.

Jesus Christ gave meaning to the laws of the old testament. he moved mankind away from from doing things that God overlooked to doin what God expects of them. A christian means a "follower of christ" NOT a follower of moses.

So if someone takes up arms to harm an individual in the name of Christ, he/she has no basis in Christ.The individual cannot get support anywhere in His teachings. He preached peace, forgiveness, tolerance.

UNLIKE Islam where it is explicitly written in the words of prophet mohammed calling for the killing and enslavement of non-believers. Didnt you see your brother Abubakar Shekau on CNN reading from the quran the words of mohammmed to justify the kidnapping, forcible conversion to islam and sex-enslavement of underage girls.

Next time when you try to justify the evils of Islam dont bother claiming to be a christian.

But I strongly disagree with those who feel that Islam is a religion of terror.

In light of the above, why should Christians point to the Qur'an as evidence of Islam's violence while ignoring their own scriptures and history....

True, terrorism might seem to be exclusive to Muslims these days, but you don't adjudge a crate of eggs to be rotten simply because a few of the eggs are rotten.
As we have witnessed in Nigeria in the past few years, bombs and bullets do not differentiate between Christians and Muslims. There are no Muslim bombs or bullets. You stand in their way, you are dead irrespective of whether you are the Sultan of Sokoto or Pope John Paul.

Let us all stop passing the buck, and unite as one to fight it in its entirety.
