In my family, garri means strength
all the men requested garri every afternoon in my house
from small kids, boys in my house are trained to love garri

when I see men say jollof rice or fried rice
I usually think yr gay or just feminine

I asked my Ghanaian new housemate that just came from Ghana, whats his best food

he said Jollof rice undecided

I was disappointed
