It is done from the bios, if your bios supports changing vram.

I just got a manufacturer Refurbished HP Mini 13g-110 dx x2 today. Plugged it to power, and set up my account etc. When i take a look at the battery icon...system told me 'no battery is detected'.


This is the same when i detach the tablet. it still tells me 'no battery is detected'.


I have updated Bios, restarted, updated battery drivers, disabled and enabled drivers, etc, yet the problem still persists.


Once i remove power cable, system goes off.


Pleaseeeee, what can i do?

The best advice now is DON'T ON THAT LAPTOP AGAIN UNTIL IT FIXED if care is not taken the HARD DRIVE will be DEAD!!!

Bro, I'm having same problem with Task Direct. I bought a brand new laptop from them but noticed some problems with it within a couple of weeks. I returned it and till dis very minute, I've not heard from them.. I don call tire but notin so far. This is d 8th week now and there is still no hope of getting it this December. seems the fan is affecting the system.if the case worsen, it might lead to hard disk crash.so do something about the fan.the system is overheating

my hp pavillon g6 is acting funny when i on the system,the keyboard freeze and i cant log in the adminstrator.To tell the truth i have not used anti- virus or update the system cos am mindful of sites i visit but the problem was visible when my system due to battery low shutdown with window media still playing.the freezing is it virus or pc updater or window problem or normal HP problem?Happy xmas and new year in advance.Am typing this with it but it is only after series of restarting,refreshing and removing of battery.THANKS in advance

Just got a new hp laptop. On charging, it shows a red light beside the charging port, this glow does not stop even after power supply is cut until after few minutes n the battery has never been 100%, just 99% since, what do I need to do, pls...

it means ur hard drive is about to damage, so, pls take ur file away to another place (backup ) and ready to change ur hard drive.

it hardware problem, maybe a bridge connection is going on inside, ur system need to be diagnose,

Good morning gurus in the house....my hp Presario windows 7 ultimate system is giving me problems....just recently, the cd compartment refused to open again, the green light it used to blink on start up also stopped.
Also, the shift keys are giving me serious problems...sometimes, it does not work at all, other times, without pressing it, it capitalises letters, highlight words etc.... pls what can i do

but what causes all this...how can i prevent it from damaging?..because i jst changed hard disk drive recently
