Hey nairalanders , please I need ur advice on this , Have got a hp dm4 ; intel core i5 , 4gig ram , 500hdd , fingerprint sensor , 2.80 turbo boost webcam Buh I wanna swap with my friend with , dell xps ; Intel core duo , 4gig ram , 320hdd Nvidia graphics card (512mb vram) backlight keyboard. , webcam 2.50 ghz Please does this deal make sense coS his willing to gimme 20k untop ... Disclaimer : am a GAMER ... Please I need ur advise o ......  !!!! |

davidayn:Doesn't change anything. But remember most games need hyper threaded processors. you can't compare a quad core processor i.e i5 to a core 2 duo with just 2 processors. His system looks decent with the added dedicated video ram but that's not the only thing you need to consider for gaming. It would run the latest games eg. gta V without problems but that core 2 duo maybe a problem in future when new games come out which demand more procesing power except you are willig to upgrade it to a core 2 quad. 1 Like |

Nope. They are not change able if they are of different chasis. The core i3 and i5 series have over a 1000 pins while the core 2 duo has 779 pins. So it won't fit in. Just go on with the deal. Seems cool with the added money. |
