dvee2:Nigeria is a secular state but it doesn't prevent citizens from going to church on Sunday. GEJ goes to church every Sunday. If you are a pastor and the president shows up in your congregation, won't you give him a few minutes to talk to the people? And if you are the president and you are given a chance to talk in church won't you at least talk about national issues? I think your fears are unfounded. It is not like the president was presenting the annual budget in church or something important along that line. Buhari can talk in his mosque if he wants. We won't call it religious fundamentism provided he doesn't incite violence and blood shed like he has done in the past. |

The best balanced piece I have read in recent times...this is my opinion. Let's major on the majors whilst choosing between two necessary 'evils'. Please I encourage you read first before commenting to make sense of the article and not necessarily the source. Let me make it emphatically clear that this is not a clarion call to crucify President Goodluck Jonathan even though he has been likened to the Christian prophet Jesus Christ, who was “crucified” on the cross. It is a call to massacre President Jonathan’s identity, his party and everyone associated with him strictly with the weapon of the ballot....read on http://saharareporters.com/2014/12/29/many-reasons-hate-buhari-many-more-crucify-jonathan |
