What is it with you people with this nonsense about cattle rearing or ranching? It's very embarrassing hearing the so called enlightened using cattle ranching in a sort of derogatory fashion.

His credentials are with the Secretary, Military Boards.
These are Military certficates not from a civilian University.

He has been running for elections in the past so this is not news

What exactly is one going to do with academic qualification verification in Nigerian politics? Even our leaders with PhD degrees are stealing our state/federal funds with reckless abandon. I think what INEC needs to do is instead ascertain that the candidate has no history of corruption (and hope that he/she does not start in office).

2.Even then, why leave them with military after so many years of retirement?

3Or for the sake of elections why can't he go and retrieve them and present?

Not because he cannot afford it but, it will be of no use to him.(old school). Fellow Nigerian, we need leaders with visions, leaders that can give selfless service. A man cannot give what he don't have, Buhari don't have vision. We need people like Fashola, Oshiomole, Ribadu, Tambuwa, akpabio ETC. if they are not available for now let make do of GEJ at least for the nest 4 years. half bread is better than non.

Nigerian constitution stipulate a minimum academic qualification to contest for president as School Certificate (Ordinary Level) or its equivalent.

Natural wisdom is not part of the qualifications in our constitution unfortunately.

So, INEC is now suppose to get his qualification and not the other way round? How many other candidates running for several offices, asked Inec to write their institution for their certificates? Buhari, has been running for president for 12 years, yet he wants Inec to retrieve his certificate from the army.

It is basic requirement to present your original certificate for siting.

You don't go asking an approving authority to write another party.

They would naturally do their due diligence independent of you at their own time by writing for confirmation from institutions you claim in your application.

Buhari must present his certificate to INEC one way or another.

If it happens that Buhari cannot present his 'certificate' then his supporters should be ashamed.

They are sacrificing merit on the alter of some phantom 'change'.

This is the worst form of corruption.

And to think that these are the same 'breeds' that after excellence.
