Well, if you'll permit me to correct some of the mistakes you made. They are in bold.
Kids look up to Olamide and Anni Macauley. You can't expect a thirty year old man to look up to Olamide, he dey mad. Even an eighteen year old boy/girl should be getting ready to take his future ambition to a whole new level and stop looking up to someone. What has Olamide contributed to the life of a common man, except, 'I want to do sina today' is that what music is meant for?
Another thing is the voting aspect. We all know that Nigeria has about 170 million people. Are you saying all the 170 million are of voting age? Not even half of the 170 will vote. Even if 70million people eligible, do they have their PVC? Even those who have it won't vote for the fear of violence.
The op is right in some aspect, Osinbajo should stop acting like a desperate politician. Till now I don't know why I should vote for him or his boss. They are just making promises, Buhari can not bring his millitary pedigree into democracy. He might have changed from incorruptible to a corrupt leader, the same way he changed from millitary to democracy.

Don't forget that this man is an academic and a pastor, two professions that have the capacity to produce TRUE champion of the ordinary people, a grassroots politician!

All over the world, GOOD leaders who care for the welfare of the ORDINARY people often find some time off their tight schedules to GO and MEET some POOR and ORDINARY folks at the GRASSROOTS. They would eat and drink with them, listen to their problems, hopes, expectations, and explain to them their parties' programmes in a simple, ordinary language they would understand.

Thus, FAR from showing his lack of optimism at the poll, as you wrongly interpreted it, what the highly respected and erudite APC VP did clearly shows his PROFOUND COMPASSION for the ORDINARY NIGERIANS and his GENUINE CONCERN for the welfare ALL CITIZENS, rich and POOR.

Imagine Osinbanjo telling journalists that subsidy should be extended to schools by giving them free meals which to me shows he lacks basic economic knowledge of what to do.

Instead of him to focus on people orientated wealth creation , he is clamouring for wealth sharing our national wealth can't sustain

1) Resource Control

2) Fiscal Federalism

3) Privatization

4) Political Federalism

5) Decentralization of Nigeria

6) Restructuring of Nigeria

6) Institutions giving detail account of their financial/other activities to the public through their websites/panels for public scrutiny every 3months.

Which are the fastest route to

I) economic diversification,
ii) citizenry prosperity
iii) political stability

These 7 points are the basis of True Federalism which can help Nigeria become a Super Power and a first world Nation.

Professor Osinbajo did no wrong by meeting commoners, however, he should know that politicking goes beyond taking selfies and smiles on pictures. The intent should be to win the support of the masses and not political stunt that will no make any effect to the ticket. Popularity in Politics is different from celebrity popularity.

Secondly, he was recruited to the team to appeal to Christian voters- his primary constituency, I don't think going to Olamide show is productive, rather it is counter productive among the christian folks. Fact is most Nigerians are appealed to by religion, though hypocritical, we want our religious leaders to be "perfect". A pastor attending shows of olamide and tweeting it is sending wrong signal to his followers and the same messages he preaches against, this inturn make people (christians) doubt his credibility, which may affect the electoral fortune of APC. Celebs in Nigeria have no electoral value, meetiing them in a non "offensive" place is more appropriate. I hope APC reconsider their strategy!

For those who do not know,Stockholm syndrome was coined to describe situations where those who are abused,oppressed and/or held captive forma twisted bond with their oppressor/s and refuse to show anything other than blind love and support for said oppressor/s. Below are some of features associated with stockholm syndrome. How many can read the list below objectively and tell me the OP and many like him, on this thread and on the ground in Nigeria, are not Stockholm syndrome sufferers only deserving our pity?

Imagine the OP is the victim/abused. GEJ/Sambo/PDP are the abusers/controllers of the abused/victim and GMB/Osinbajo/APC are the liberators/well-wishers of the abused/victim. Does the behaviour/mental challenges of OP and others like him,which led to the creation of this senseless thread, not all make sense now? The bold part below, for example, is what OP is doing here with this childishly senseless attack on Osinbajo who is engaged in legitimate campaigning as fully entitled. God help our fellow Nigerians. My Opinion

It is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but I have noticed a new strategy you are using. It is as if you want to come across as fair in your comments and want to create a notion that you have balanced views on issues. This strategy is good but do not let it becloud your judgement.

I have 2 issues with your post....

1. I don't know why any person will criticize his pictures with fellow Nigerians. The fact is selfies and pictures with smart phones are a reality of this generation, it is what young people do and enjoy- as you would know they form the majority of voters as well. The internet is a strong tool to win the hearts and minds of voters. You are an APC supporter so you should know that the general feeling is that Buhari is stern, rigid and a disciplinarian. Oshibajo is there to balance that perception. Oshibajo is fun, friendly, intelligent and younger.

2. Let us be clear, the day Prof Oshibajo was nominated as a VP candidate of APC, he stopped being just the pastor of Redeem, he is now a prospective VP to all Nigerians, whether Christian, Muslim, pagan, atheist etc. If these so called Christians are unhappy with his association with other Nigerians that they deem 'sinful', they can shove their fundamentalist crap down their pfucking throat.

Will these so called 'Christian voters' object to his visit to the Muslim Northerners in Obalende?

It is good to criticize and provide balanced opinions but let us do it with sincerity.

is there anywhere it is written in the bible a pastor shouldnt dabble into politics .some notable men in the old testaments were kings . he may have chosen to be a pastor so as to further have a connection with the masses ..... preaching love . Not every pastor is a miracle perfomer or prophecier . each has got his vision and mission.

you dont know what you are saying then . do you need subsidy money to create a workin train service in the first instance . There are allocation for train services in the budjet already before subsidy ish came up . he said this kind of money we realize can be used to feed public school students . there was no place he said his govt wouldnt provide infrastructure . the federal govt wants to give you stove now , where is the food to cook ? we are yet to see the buses we were told in 2011. osibanjo's point there was simply accountability . it will do you well to listen , comprehend deeply before you talk.

True. The fear of losing Lagos is becoming very clear to APC especially Tinubu. Osibanjo is obviously doing the bidding of his master to help keep Lagos under APC next year.
For now, it will be safe to say the Presidential election is beyond the reach of APC.

believe me ,tinubu and sw apc governors will focus all their resources in winning their states.it is obvious majority of sw states are not happy with these apc govs.why will they fund buhari campaign when it is obvious he will lose?at the end of the day ,buhari campaign team will be starved of needed funds to campaign with. I keep believing the notion that tinubu and co is actually setting up buhari to lose.

There are allocation for train services in the budjet already before subsidy ish came up . he said this kind of money we realize can be used to feed public school students . there was no place he said his govt wouldnt provide infrastructure . the federal govt wants to give you stove now , where is the food to cook ? we are yet to see the buses we were told in 2011. osibanjo's point there was simply accountability . it will do you well to listen , comprehend deeply before you talk.

It is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but I have noticed a new strategy you are using. It is as if you want to come across as fair in your comments and want to create a notion that you have balanced views on issues. This strategy is good but do not let it becloud your judgement.

I have 2 issues with your post....

1. I don't know why any person will criticize his pictures with fellow Nigerians. The fact is selfies and pictures with smart phones are a reality of this generation, it is what young people do and enjoy- as you would know they form the majority of voters as well. The internet is a strong tool to win the hearts and minds of voters. You are an APC supporter so you should know that the general feeling is that Buhari is stern, rigid and a disciplinarian. Oshibajo is there to balance that perception. Oshibajo is fun, friendly, intelligent and younger.

2. Let us be clear, the day Prof Oshibajo was nominated as a VP candidate of APC, he stopped being just the pastor of Redeem, he is now a prospective VP to all Nigerians, whether Christian, Muslim, pagan, atheist etc. If these so called Christians are unhappy with his association with other Nigerians that they deem 'sinful', they can shove their fundamentalist crap down their pfucking throat.

Will these so called 'Christian voters' object to his visit to the Muslim Northerners in Obalende?

It is good to criticize and provide balanced opinions but let us do it with sincerity.

I totally agree with you and I really do not understand Barcanista's point here at all. Trying to be popular and all things to all men can often make you grant concessions when such are not meritoriously warranted and indeed even weaken what/who you stand for to the advantages of vipers and Vultures who wish Nigeria to remain as it is. These TANdroids have no point at all with their facetious and idiotic criticism of how Osinbajo chooses to go about engaging with Nigerians. They have no intentions of voting GMB/Osinbajo anyway and will still refuse to do so if their god directs them to !!!! Indeed this is not the first time I have personally pointed out to Barcanista that these folks can never see anything good in what team GMB/Osinbajo say and/or do anyway!!!!

I am really disappointed Barcanista said what is quoted below which sounds entirely like the utterance of someone playing to the gallery since it fails the test of objective and logical criticism.

however, he should know that politicking goes beyond taking selfies and smiles on pictures. The intent should be to win the support of the masses and not political stunt that will no make any effect to the ticket. Popularity in Politics is different from celebrity popularity.

Barcanista, with the above, is simply agreeing with all the TAndroids and their totally inane criticism. Osinbajo emerged VP literally 14 days ago and any objective person should know that this is only the start point of his own campaign strategy. Is Barcanista privy to the entirety of Osinbajo's comprehensive campaign plans from now till Feb 12 i.e the last day INEC sanctions for GMB and Osinbajo to 'sell' themselves? Why then is Barcanista eager to criticise myopically rather than support his corner and wait for the many other 'overdrive' campaign strategy team GMB/Osinbajo will be rolling out over the next 6 weeks that will show Nigerians many pioneering and innovative measures of a team really eager to engage the masses and show they, more than others, mean best for them?

I really don't understand Barcanista's criticism which is hasty, without merit whatsoever and appears an attempt to be liked by all sides when such is not possible in the pursuit of a better Nigeria which will surely pit one against dark-minded and even evil folks determined to maintain the vile status quo our people labour under daily.
