The topic explain itselfs. Sometimes i wonder which of the two phrase is correct "My Names are and My Name is". Most time it becomes annoying when you ask someone of his or her name and the subsequents was the reply. If i ask you what is your name? and you reply with "Your first Name, Middle Name and surname" Maybe you are correct  or the question is "what are your name Nawa for Naija o, anyway lets see your opinion. |

see waec question your name IS: only your name given to you by your parents i.e Goodluck your names ARE: your name,middle name,and your surname i.e Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan |

Whether u are calling ten names together 'my name is' remains correct, dnt ever say my names are as learned person. 1 Like |

blemon44:If no be say today nah new year,..ah for say make thunder fire ur third testicle...we have what we call table..now singularly lyk u portrayed..one is ryt if he/she say.."the name is table"... now..we have variants of tables..e.g glass table..,wooden table etc..now plurally lyk u noted i should say.."the names are glass table" ...abeg drink from a gong..it helps restore common initiative. |
