Its so ridiclous how many people on NL has been mentioning Fashola's name. Did jonathan call names? Is it not true that the SW is been ruled by thugs and rascals? Forget their parties and let's face the reality. No politician is a saint, they all do some dirty things to gt to power but it becomes an issue when it persist when they are in power. I was in lagos at the last lagos election and I knw all the governors that where soliciting for votes with bribes. I was approached! Nobody is a saint and all what some party racist do is to pick out words to attack people.

If the word was used, it refered to an individual but to shuffle it it was used in a generic form.

After ONLY APOLOGISING ( and no longer running his mouth), he should just keep low and concentrate on his job ( doing outstanding things, till april.), with you glorifying all his works. Fellow Nigerians, I think our President owes us an explanation on who he reffer ed to as "rascals in South Western states. As a citizen of Nigeria,who follows events in this country, I think is an issue of a Kettle calling a pot black. At least in Ogun state alone, the government of the state has been functioning without the Legislative arm of the government,which some rascals hijacked;and nothing was done on it by our President. Oyo Senator aide killed a fellow man,only for him to be released from Prison and be part of delegates to PDP convention,where our President emerged.Is it Lagos state where dividends of democracy is been felt by the populace or Ondo where for once, I can see development? Or Ekiti and Osun, where the governors highlighted the programmes they have for the states,and commenced them immediately? Should we continue to leave our destinies in the hand of PDP,which has been in the Power for 12 yrs,and common man can not feel anything rather than deplorable state of our roads-which has sent may lives to grave beyond,decay health care infrastructures,depleted Economy,highest level of corruption-even in the Judiciary,collapsed education sector,high rate of insecurity etc? Who then is the rascal, our President is talking about? I've never voted in my life but this time around, I made up my mind to register and vote, when I saw wonderful speech presented by our President at Eagle square,Abuja during his declaration-I was there,just a about 5 meters away from him. I thought, our President is a product of new Nigeria, a paradigm shift from do or die affairs,more so, with the emphasis on "votes must count'', but now I have changed my mind, until i'm convinced beyond reasonable doubt that our President will be a visionary Leader, who will deliver dividend of democracy to Nigerians. Until, He assures me that he will address issues and not be involved in rascality which is the brand of PDP.Can a Leopard change its colour or an Ethiopian changes his skin? Only time will tell!

It is high time we all open our eyes to know which is good and which is bad. If President Jonathan is truly an honest and a sincere leader, why should he be against Gov. Fashola of lagos state whom even the blind, the deaf, and our ancestors know that he has really done very well for the good of lagos state. Fashola has turned lagos state from its traditionally renowned notorious and dreadful insecure state to at least a secure and habitable town. Is Jonathan after how many states is being controlled by the PDP or how the various states in Nigeria are being governed by their respective governors? If Jonathan is truly a good leader which he claims to be, he should be concerned of the well-being of the masses in their various states and how well the masses are being governed by thier respective governors. Jonathan, coming out to lambaste Fashola (and other AC governors in the southwest zone) publicly, if truly he did so, because he is a member of the AC party and knowing well that Governor Fashola is really doing a lot of good works and development in Lagos state is very very irrelevant and unexpected of a true leader. This clearly shows that some of our leaders are just in the positions they occupy for some selfish reasons best known to them. For those that maybe saying that i am a fan of the AC party, I am non-partisan and have never voted in my life. I am not a yoruba, so the talk of tribalism is out of it, and i am not trying to say Fashola might not have failed in some aspects but if going by a general accreditation base on physical developments in the state and also base on general reactions from the impartial residents of lagos state, Governor Fashola has done reasonably very well in Lagos state. Please, the time has come when we have to cast our vote to the rightful person irrespective of his tribe, zone, religion, and political party. All the talk about PDP, ANPP, ACN, DPP, are just political blind folding of the masses, we should vote for the right person who will make a true leader irrespective of the party he or she belongs.

For Jonathan to make such a statement, it clearly shows that he has the backing of Yoruba PDP big wigs like OBJ and Akala. My question is what is the ratio of PDP to non PDP states in the southwest? If there are more non PDP states in the SW, then they can gang up and form an alliance with Buhari to defeat Jonathan and his God father OBJ.
