Whoever convinced Wenger to let Sanogoal go on loan has done a nice job. I am not sure Poldi should be allowed to leave anyway

The only positive from today's game is Coquelin, he played well. The danger with that is Wenger will say he has a midfield enforcer, no signing.

I beg to disagree even though I would admit Coquelin has greatly improved but not like today's performance was exceptional or eye catchy , he had the agility and tenacity but lacked the size and brute force, Coquelin and our midfield were bullied by Southampton especially Wanyama who dominated tackles, we lacked the size to combat 50/50 challenges, even the deployment of Chambers was counter productive as he lacked ball technique and field awareness thus leaving enough space for Southampton in the middle when he lost possesion..

A very tough night for the team as a whole...
