Please, this is my candid opinion as everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Moreover, I am a bona fide citizen of Nigeria by birth. Matters of governance concern me like every other politically educated citizen. Before you say someone has paid me as one dude claimed, let me state it categorically that I don't have any affiliation with Goodluck Jonathan's government nor any of his campaign organization. I have said it before and I will still say it again that Buhari and his running-mate, Osinbajo cannot take Nigeria to the height that the common man on the street would be appreciative of. A lot of people talk about change yet they don't consider the type of change Nigerians want. We don't just need change but a credible one. Below are summaries/reasons why Buhari is already a failure: 1. Buhari does not possess the intellectual wherewithal to support the youths as they match (even if the movement is presently slow) with the rest of the world in technological advancement. This man is just too old and ancient to rule a country like Nigeria! Does he think we are still in some kind of military era where information and individual developmental initiatives are suppressed? We have passed that era. Someone that couldn't operate simple electronic gadget such as a PC? 2. Osinbajo, being picked as Buhari's running-mate is a scam! He wasn't picked because he was seen very credible but just to buy the westerners' votes! 3. The Nigerian youths want young credible leaders with the intellectual capacity to handle affairs in this country! Not some old recycled generals. Until someone with a clear vision, who could be a benevolent despot (dictator) handles the affairs of Nigeria, we would continue to swim in the murky waters of corruption and poverty. Jonathan should rule till 2019...after then, we can escort him to Otuoke. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Personally, I won't say one of the two contenders would win or lose...but what I've seen,read about and known in the last 3 years is that, Nigerians have woken up. We don't want a leader who won't do what is right. It may even happen that none of them I.ε GEJ and GMB would win. But I strongly believe that whoever emerges as the winner will at all times do what is right. |
