Nigerian army says they have Buhari’s certificate

Yesterday, a military source told Vanguard that the military does not have Gen. Buhari’s certificate. Today, the director of public relations of the Nigerian Army Brigadier Olaleye Lajide, dismissed the reports, saying the military have his academic records, that they’re just waiting for him to apply for it

The military spokesman made the disclosure while responding to a text message from SaharaReporters seeking clarification about the status of Mr. Buhari’s records. Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased officers since its inception. He added, however, that all military officers are supposed to keep original copies of their certificates.

According to him, in the event where an officer loses his or her original copy of records, the concerned officer must officially apply for copies from the army. He stated that the army responds to such requests in an expeditious manner. Brigadier Lajide told our correspondent that he was a former director of records at the Nigerian Army headquarters and had seen records of older and retired generals. He added that he was in no doubt that General Buhari’s records were intact. Brigadier Olaleye insisted that the claim in a major Nigerian newspaper, that the army could not locate Mr. Buhari’s record was untrue.

Rev. Father. Ejike Mbaka, the founder of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, is awfully displeased with President Goodluck Jonathan.

Only two months ago, the cleric annointed First Lady, Patience Jonathan, and prophesied that her husband would win his re-election in February.

However, he seems to have had a change of heart, going by his prediction during the end-of-year Adoration mass to usher in 2015.

Delivering a sermon tagged, “From Good luck to Bad luck”, Father Mbaka urged Nigerians to vote out Jonathan, while adding that he got a revelation from God, which proved that the president would lose at the presidential election.

1) Which highways are U talking of? I used Lagos Ibadan expressway this morning & it was in no way new looking apart from the new potholes that was giving the driver a hard time.



2) Between 2010 & 2011, I used the Kwara to Lagos train. I paid not up to 700 naira for the 12 hours trip & the train made sense. Or else U are being sentimental, U know the price of these trains even within lagos is at least 750 naira. (Though the train I used earlier was kinda within his tenure, It was long before he started any transformation) transformation that has made the once cheapest mode of transportation become one of the most expensive modes of transportation. The cycle used to be: rich people use planes, middle class use bus & poor use train. I wonder what the poor will use now.
