a Kenyan student has been sentenced to jail for one year for insulting the President on social media and fined $2 200(£1 400) or face another year in jail...also a prominent blogger has been charged in the country for calli g the president "adolescent president"....

What makes you think Kenya is a bastardised society? You should get some facts about a country before saying hateful things.
Just so you know insulting someone even a commoner is punishable by law, if you can provide evidence. So what was done to the person who insulted the president was within the law.
