First of all people, Uniport is the best school in Nigeria and am here to prove that to you... First of all I will start with our Lecturers.

I can proudly say that we have 3 Emeritus Professors in Uniport, Our vice chancellor is one of the most qualified vice chancellors in the whole of Nigeria, he is the Current Chairman of Emmanuel Egbogah Chair of Petroleum Engineering (Google if you don't know what it means).
We have former VC's of other well acclaimed universities in Nigeria as lecturers, Prof Ideye (Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences) was the former VC of University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). Out of the 6 Petroleum Engineering professors we have in Nigeria, 4 Lecture in Uniport. Our Lecturers are among if not the best Lecturers in Nigeria.
The just concluded Nigeria Dental Competition was won by a Uniport Students. The only school that trains her engineers at an early stage, we are currently installing gas turbines in the school, and who are doing this, Students!
Not only are we good academically, we are the best sport school in Nigeria, we've won the Nigeria University Games (NUGA) 5 times consecutively, we've also won the West African University Games (WUGA) 3 times consecutively. Our students are representing everywhere. The last concluded Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS) was won by our student, the viewers choice was also won by one of us too, the last girl standing was also our student. (Unique gbo gbo).
We have the longest alumni list, the number one citizen of the country was a student of UNIPORT, Governor Chibuike Amaechi was also our student, Current CBN governor Godwin Emeifele was one of us, Ken Etete, Sir Alex Otti and so many others. Even in the movie industry we have our students there.
We have the biggest science complex in Nigeria. Our Crab (Art Theatre) is the best in Nigeria. The best school in Nigeria to study Petroleum Engineering, All Education courses (We have a centre for excellence), Pol Admin, and second best to study Medicine. Our Library is an automated library, with the online public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
