what you have here is a Mosque in disguise. Take away the cross repaint the walls what is left is a complete mosque. same way those bent on islamising Imo has asked Okorocha to build city gates all over owerri, borrowing from Islamic bank. Unfortunately most of Imolites has sold their souls to Islam |

Darlduchi:There is nothing wrong with Islam my friend. Learn to respect other people's belief. This is a Church and not a mosque as what we see there are Pastors and Reverends. Okorocha should also build a Mosque for Imo Moslems and a beautiful Obiri for Amali. |

Abagworo:http://www.punchng.com/news/jonathan-to-contest-against-semi-literate-candidate-pdp/ .. but are u sure say GMB go contest? if una be smart, that 23 December 2014 when PDP said Jonathan was going to contest against a semi-illiterate, that was the day una for thoroughly examine Buhari's certificate before closure of INEC deadline for submission/withdrawal of presidential candidates. But una de busy de find how una go weave lies of corruption against Jonathan, lies like the one u told here about Innoson Motors. Innoson was in big business even before Jonathan thought of joining politics. |

Imo APGA: House divided against itself January 5, 2015 By Anolu Vincent Snr . Correspondent , Owerri To all keen observers of politics in Imo State , the late highly respected author , poet , and literary giant – Professor Chinua Achebe – could not be faulted when he wrote the famous “ Things Fall Apart ” and lamented that the centre could no longer hold . This is what has become the fate of APGA in Imo State which has now become a house divided against itself , no thanks to the results of the governorship primaries of the party that produced two governorship candidates in the state – Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho , ex-Minister of Interior , and Mr . Okey Eze . Iheanacho Ezeh Trouble erupted shortly after the apex leadership caucus of the party nominated and endorsed the former minister, Capt . Emmanuel Iheanacho, as the party ’ s consensus candidate for the 2015 governorship election in the state . In a communiqué signed by members of the state working committee , zonal executive members , local government chairmen of the party , as well as Hon. Victor Mere , Hon. Dan Ikpeazu and Hon. Victor Ndunagu representing Owerri Municipal , Owerri North , and Mbaitoli state constituencies in Imo State House of Assembly respectively that was made available to newsmen in Owerri , the party posited that Iheanacho was unanimously endorsed following the outcome of a painstaking assessment and evaluation undertaken by the apex leadership caucus in the state based on the aspirants ’ individual capacities , their ratings by the general electorate of Imo state , from the wards, local government through the state level and their independent rating by the Imo state public in general. Also taken into consideration according to the party was ‘ the views , observations and commentaries which emanated from the recently concluded Imo APGA Sensitization mega rally which further provided insights into the nature and character of the individual who is best suited to lead our great party APGA to electoral victory in the 2015 governorship elections ’ . The communiqué read : ? We , the Imo State apex leadership caucus of the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA ) have carefully assessed the progress and challenges facing our great party APGA over the past several years , with particular emphasis on the challenges existing in respect for our quest to win back the executive governorship of Imo State come February 2015. “ In our desire to ensure the realization of our collective desire for good governance in Imo state in 2015 and beyond, we went to extra mile to feel the pulse of our Imo political stakeholders including our party leaders , rank and file party faithful within and outside Imo state and most importantly the Imo electorate on the chances of our great party winning the Governorship election in 2015. “ From the wards to the local government level , the zones to the state level , the results of our polling continued to indicate that our great party APGA stood a very good chance if we field a very experienced , capable, credible , articulate , accomplished and mature candidate to fly the party ’ s flag in the pending gubernatorial contest in 2015 . “ In the light of this development , the Imo State Apex Leadership Caucus , carried out a careful assessment of the various gubernatorial aspirants of our great party based on their individual capacities , their ratings by the general electorate of Imo state from the wards, local government through the state level and their independent rating by the Imo state public in general. “ The Imo APGA Leadership Caucus also took into account, the views , observations and commentaries which emanated from the recently concluded Imo APGA Sensitization mega rally which further provided insights into the nature and character of the individual who is best suited to lead our great party APGA to electoral victory in the 2015 governorship elections . “ Based on the painstaking assessment and evaluation undertaken by the Imo APGA Apex Leadership Caucus , the caucus hereby unequivocally nominates and endorses the person of Hon. Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho as the Imo APGA sole governorship candidate for the forthcoming gubernatorial elections slated for February 2015 . ” The party also presnted the grounds on which this choice was made: “ Hon. Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho remains a man of great integrity , capacity and accomplishments , He is an accomplished manager of large corporate , being an employer of labour and a man of means , Hon . Capt . Iheanacho is an experienced technocrat with an intuitive knowledge of how to industrialize Imo state and getting the state ’ s economy working again , Hon. Capt . Iheanacho is an honest , sincere and straightforward individual apparently loved and widely accepted by the large majority of Imo state electorate , Hon . Capt . Iheanacho is the physical embodiment of the personality who can best contest and prevail against the challenges posed by the gubernatorial candidates from the other opposition parties . “ The foregoing notwithstanding , we wish to state that we fully appreciate the effort of other personalities who have hitherto expressed an interest in or participated in the contest for the APGA party ’ s nomination as the gubernatorial candidate of our great party in Imo state for the 2015 elections . It however admitted that irrespective of whatever attributes each and every one of such aspirants may lay claim to, only one person would occupy the exalted position of the Executive Governor of Imo state in 2015 insisting that in the opinion of the Imo State Apex Leadership Caucus , the man most suitable to represent the Imo APGA as its gubernatorial candidate in the governorship election of 2015 is Hon . Capt . Emmanuel Iheanacho . “ We therefore call upon all APGA leaders and party faithful to support Hon. Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho as he leads our great party APGA to victory in the gubernatorial contest , in Imo state come 2015. ” Regardless , Okey Eze and his team would hear none of it . Reacting to the development , Prince C . C . Nwaka , factional chairman of the party in the state , in statement in Owerri , dismissed this as misleading and mischievous . He also insisted that Mr . Okey Eze and three others (Elder Sunny Nwadialo, Eugene Nzeme and Engr . Chigozie Orujiuba ) reportedly suspended from the party still remained bonafide party members . His words : “ It will be recalled that Mr. Okey Ezeh successfully emerged the Governorship Candidate of our great party , APGA in Imo State after keenly - contested primaries which saw him defeating two other aspirants , namely Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho and Mazi Okechukwu Unegbu. Consequently , we have forwarded his name to INEC and to all relevant authorities . It is our hope that Mr . Okey Ezeh will lead the party to a resounding victory at the forthcoming 2015 elections . ” He cited Article 18 of the APGA Constitution which, according to him , deals with Tenure and Election of APGA executives ; and insisted that there is no provision for caretaker committees anywhere in the constitution of the party which INEC is aware of . “ APGA is not an individual, it is an institution registered under the law with a constitution guiding its operations. We wonder where this Peter Ezeobi derives his power . lmo people should keep their fingers crossed and wait on INEC to release the names of candidates of the various political parties that is when these desperate elements who see the Imo Governorship seat as their retirement benefit will be put to shame . We would have suspended them but we can ’ t because they are not party members . We urge the general public to disregard whatever noise they make in the media . “ While the orchestrated plot by Ezeobi and his paymasters are being carefully checked, we assure all that necessary legal procedure is being put in place to ensure an end to their rogue antics. Only an elected State Executive Council of APGA has the constitutional powers to elect a guber candidate for the party and our candidate is Okey Ezeh. ” Curiously Nwaka also announced the suspension of Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho from APGA for anti-party activities saying that a disciplinary committee had been set up to try him in accordance with article 21 of the party constitution . Boasting that APGA in the State is coherent and formidable , Nwaka said that the party has all it takes to win the 2015 guber race explaining that “ our candidate and leader Mr. Okey Ezeh is a stellar democrat who appeals to the entire Imo . We will not tolerate an attempt to deceive Ndi Imo or confuse the electorate. ” With the unfolding political situation within the political family of the cock, the poser on the lips of the average Imo voter now is : will the cock crow as is usual of it to herald the arrival of a new dawn ? This may become clearer in a matter of weeks. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2015/01/imo-apga-house-divided/ |

Ikwerre people are the most backward, useless, unproductive and senile tribe in Nigeria of not the world, the only popular Ikwerre man that his name ring aa bell Elechi Amadi was when they were still regarded as Igbos. Since the war ended. There is no bank own by an Ikwerrema. There is no filling station own by an Ikwerreman. There is no hotel own by an Ikwerre person. Ikwerre people dont dominate any line of business, they dont even have any economic value. No ikwerre yet in the sportsworld, movie, music, arts, literature, et al the most important business in Ikwerreland is touting for car sticker at Obiakpor LG, the number of cults and gangs in Ikwerreland alone exceed that of downtown LA and Chicago put together. No newspaper is own by an ikwerre person, nothing whatsover but stamp duty and sticker selling. Tell me how Ikwerres are not backward mofos, even the buildings they stole from Igbos after the war are yet to change their zincs and ceiling, all the bungalows in Ikwerreland they stole from Igbo when are they going to repaint those houses or fix the toilet facilities to show they are real human. Check Ikwerre residential areas and check an average Igbo city, town or village and tell me who is backward. Ikwerres are backward, capish HopeAtHand: |

Oga tell us about Ikwerre people now, those that have been to the moon we dont know and those that discovered ebola cure that we are yet to be aware of. List all your useless people from your Ikwerre gangland lets see and stop derailing this thread. Imagine an Ikwerreman iin an online forum flexing his empty muscles. Ndigbo have left you, they dont even share any business idea with you anymore because you lack economic value and acumen, so its either your youths turn political thugs, militants,prostitut3s or ended up as ticket touts at Obioakpor LG. emmysoftyou: |

You people paid by Jonathan are losing it everyday. I just read where you people are attacking Catholic Church all because of a failed leader. Now you are attacking Ikwerre people just because of same wicked failed leader. I am sure if I supported Nyesom Wike Ikwerre will be praised but alas I work with my conscience. My Igboness is not in doubt as I seem to know various Igbo dialects and history more than all if you. Stop the insult against Ikwerres who have little or no interest in this thread or any other Igbo thread. Jonathans method of divide and rule has failed and you people should join the change movement. Catholics, RCCG, Muslims are united to save Nigeria from the hell Mr Jonathan has put us. |

You cannnot even list Ikwerres along the Aniomas, Aniomas are on the class of their own just like their kiths and kins in the South East. The ikwerres that isolated themselves form Igbo affairs have nothing to show for it except thuggery, cultism, gangsterism and toutish behaviours. I thought by now an Ikwerreman would have the UN sec gen going by the way the criminals alienated themselves from Igbos as Igbos were hindering their progress. Everything that defines SE Igbos are find in the Aniomas, they aligned with their kiths n kins, they make great economic impart and beyond Africa are building great institutions despite surviving genocide and civil war, Ikwerre that didnt survive any are acting like the somalians your telling me about Tonto Dike and red pant abi Julius Agwu with his recycled boring jokes. You cant even see them outside PHC because they cant survive doing ligitimate business Nigga plssssssss emmysoftyou: |

asha80:Berem and Abagworo what say you to the comment above ? When I say Rochas is a confused eediot some people get offended. The money used in building that ecumenical center is enough to construct two modern secondary schools or rehabilitation and re-equip about ten. First off,Rochas doesnt understand what is infrastructural development. And to know that he is being praised by Abagworo and Berem is very disheartening. This ffoolish Rochas is squandering Imo funds on worthless ventures. |
