An eye witness account, the express road is blocked with tires on one side while a comrade bus was set on fire sending plumes of smoke in the airm I was asked to reverse so my car won't be burnt. Took these snap shots from afar. Its a spilover from yesterday's incident. The house that was demolished is the VC's lodge not Prof Oshodin's private residence. I just hope this doesn't spill over as the univesrity authority might be held liable. Yesterday the SUG president led students to the banks inside the school beating up security men and removing Oshiomole's pictures in the banks

Its a staff quarter handed over to the school by previous military regime when the school extention was having accommodation problem. Oshiomole have no right to demolish it when an appeal has been made in the court.

I didn't vote for Oshomole because i felt he talks too much and will do less.Thank God i was right.If Nigerians will be able to know that politicians that run their mouth never do well ,then this sick nation of ours will receive healing.

What is there to kid about? I know that road like I know my palm. Infact, I get a bit sensitive when I talk about that road. Some years back when I was still in primary school, my Aunty and I fell in the so called drain that was built at that adolor junction. She carried me on her back while she "swam" across the adolo "river" as it was referred to back then when she hit the slab and we both went down. Unforgettable day. Popsie was collecting peanuts as house rent cos pple didn't want to live on that road. Cars dare not ply that road, even trailers! It was really terrible and it got even worse during Lucky's era!

It was during osho's time it became far more bearable. Cars ply the road like any normal road. Even bikes could cross the junction during rainy season.

Some years ago you say? Well fast forward to now, it was on that same road during the rainy season that the car my friend and her baby were in fell in a ditch thank God they were not hurt. Anyways my point is Adolor is NOT is its best state, far from it actually, might be better than your time but definitely not 'best'.

The roads you mentioned are far better than they were during pdp era! Infact, holy rosary road was just a path of RED SAND as at 6yrs ago! But oshiomole tarred it 3 or 4yrs back! Hence its now very motorable and convenient for road users! Why must you pple tell lies to score cheap political points! Its disgusting!

i'm not justifying anything neither am i arguing. oshodin decided not to be politically neutral so he should be ready for anything. You can't eat your cake and have it.

My friend who finished from science lab technology uniben decried the state of adolor college road entrenching into uwasota as being unmotorable and the inhabitants of those places has been driven out by water... And hey he is so pro APC...

My God have mercy, that road links to technical college road and God bear me witness, bikemen at the back gate of ubth gate will not even pass there when I had jobs to execute at technical school down the road and this was last year o... Even adjoining road like uwasota, buses had to navigate through adjoining streets to their destination which is Uwelu spare part market...

i don't know of adolor or uwasota as i don't pass there but Holy Rosary is far better than Lagos ibadan expressway. There was a time when it was bad though but last year during the rainy season that road was an expressway.
