Adolo college is in great conditions (Nigeria's standard) this dry season. During the rainy season, it floods but flows out very fast. It used to be a major headache to the ugbowo lagos rd axis just like tomline but now there is little or no effect during the rainy season.

As for holy rosary road, that one is almost perfect both rain and dry seasons. Tho a few recent potholes this past months Unless you are talking about the adjoining roads. In that case, u have to be more specific.

My friend who finished from science lab technology uniben decried the state of adolor college road entrenching into uwasota as being unmotorable and the inhabitants of those places has been driven out by water... And hey he is so pro APC...

Iyobs7....There is something called continuity.....Before oshiomhole came into power,Edo state was nothing to write home about. ..Now,Edo is the way it is because of oshiomhole.
There is no way,I repeat no way oshiomhole can repair all the roads in Benin. Thats where continuity comes into play.If Igbinedion had found it necessary to do anything in Edo state,oshiomhole would have consolidated on it but hey, he had to start from the scratch.
Oshiomhole has tried to an extent,this isn't hearsay, am an Edo indigene.What we are praying for is for a successor who would consolidate on what he has done.

What is there to kid about? I know that road like I know my palm. Infact, I get a bit sensitive when I talk about that road. Some years back when I was still in primary school, my Aunty and I fell in the so called drain that was built at that adolor junction. She carried me on her back while she "swam" across the adolo "river" as it was referred to back then when she hit the slab and we both went down. Unforgettable day. Popsie was collecting peanuts as house rent cos pple didn't want to live on that road. Cars dare not ply that road, even trailers! It was really terrible and it got even worse during Lucky's era!

It was during osho's time it became far more bearable. Cars ply the road like any normal road. Even bikes could cross the junction during rainy season.

i don't know of adolor or uwasota as i don't pass there but Holy Rosary is far better than Lagos ibadan expressway. There was a time when it was bad though but last year during the rainy season that road was an expressway.

In terms of road construction, even the most devious mind who lives in Benin will agree that this APC govt has done well. He may not be a 100percent but its far better than all the pdp govts put together and multiplied by a 100!

As for me, I am not surprised by it all. I know right from the onset that this man is big fraud. What ever good he does is never done in Good Faith and I raised the alarm long ago here but many including the original poster of this piece (dapachez) disagreed sharply with me but today they are the ones crying fowl, they should expect more from the “Go N Die” Governor.

Man holy rosary is very motorable. Whenever there is hold up at uselu shell I drive through universal through technical college road via holy rosary to connect federal government college road. I relocated back to b enin 2 years ago and was surprised at the state of the road cos when I left 7 yrs before the road was terrible and all muddy. Infact it was an eye sore. Adolor college is a lil bit motorable in the rainy season compared to what it was years back. I stayed at eweka avenue off iyeye street then and gosh it was so terrible that the then inec chairman Abel Guobadia who was my neighbour then relocated to GRA. This dry season its very motorable. What I think that babe you have been arguing with is trying to point out is that compared to the pdpd years the road is a bit better as the potholes have been filled up with sand like was done on some spots along wire road. Uwasota from ojo junction to uwelu is a write off I won't dare drive on that road. Thetre is so much work to be done on the roads in benin. If the interlinking roads(which benin has a lot of ) are fixed nobody will bother passing through the major roads

There was a stay of execution in this case, but the silly governor went ahead to demolish the said property. Its a big slap to the judiciary. Feb 14 will be the game changer. Aluta continua......

Burning comrade buses makes no sense at all..Uniben SUG is just doing the very wrong thing..the only prayer is this doesn't turn into sometin worse..cos I don't see how burning a comrade bus affects oshiomole himself, he clearly doesn't use dem.He did the wrong thing for not waiting for the court to decide before demolishing the vc's lodge but then, resorting to violence as a response might only give room for more violence..

I am still in shock cos it seems uniben authorities have made a wrong move in the game of chess that just started. Am sad that some security men at a particular bank in uniben campus were fired for allowing the students into the banking hall yesterday when the students leds by the SuG president went on rampage going into the nine banks in the school compound after closing hours(4pm). Now am wondering if Oshiomole own the banks( the students alleged that they wanted to remove the pictures of oshiomole in the banking halls.
Now the security men were sacked and the students got wind of it and came back to vandalise the bank. I just hope tomorrow won't be a continuation of this crisis

Stupid students. They are being hailed by people all over this thread. They do things like this and innocent people suffer. Uniben should have handled this a long time ago. They knew that the property belonged to the state but for some reason thought the best option was to take it to court and waste money that should have been put to better used on lawyers and court costs. Now innocent people are left with no place to live and empty headed students have caused even more suffering for these poor bread winners

Thee is a white toyota hiace bus that belongs to edo state city transport service there that has been vandalised. Cars are not allowed to leave the compound. A lot of us are stuck in the school premises against our wish. Does this make sense?
