*Poetry is one of my favorite genres of literature I love to express my creativity with and I get my inspirations via so many angles. This particular poem was inspired by Vampire Diaries Season 5; the episode where Bonnie was being buried and she was speaking to Elena, Caroline, Damon, Tyga etc through Jeremy. 'The Other Side' is a term from the film for someone who has left. I hope you'd enjoy the creativity and get the message*

The other side; I've never been
But I know people who have journeyed
Both young and old
Male and Female
Leaving me behind for a day
when I'll do same.

I hold no possession of time
though I pray for longevity of life.
I speak not of death so soon
But one day I shall journey after I've 'tey'd'
I wish I'll do everything right
For that one-time exit
Where no Bonnie-magic works.
