Gej Must Go by Crownofwealth(op): 8:43am On Jan 09, 2015
In as much as i would want somebody from the South South region to be the President of this
country i must say that the Jonathan government has failed abysmally in all facet.Since the
history of Nigeria, no administration has been more plagued with series of strike, blood shed
and insecurity. recently it was RATTAWU, JOHESU and now JUSUN. It was under his
administration that Nigeria witnessed its longest strike in the educational sector.(ASUU and
ASUP STRIKE). The privitisation of the power sector coupled with the flimsy promises that
power will improve is a serious fallacy. He has failed and will always fail. We have heard of the
Creation of over one million jobs for the youths. Jobs that even the blind cannot see or feel.
Jobs that have been shared by the politicians. How long shall we continue deceiving
ourselves. If it were to be in the developed countries such a President would have resigned.
Integrity demands resignation in these circumstances as his administration has failed
woefully. it pains me that so many Nigerians have been blinded by religious ethnic and
political sentiments such that they canot see what has befallen us.Indeed We need fresh air
but not the fresh air that GEJ has brought.

Jonathan will be there to 2019, if you don't like it, you're free to commit suicide. Select any of the options below, each method has been tested and trusted. grin grin grin

Security: The whole world is in turmoil. No where is safe. Nigeria is having its share in terrorism in the world. Many niorth African countries are having tougher security issues than Nigeria right now. Moreover, Nigeria had this kind of experience before, that was in 1967-1970, there was serious bloodshed, hunger and diseases.
Employment: GEJ has established over 100 Almajiri schools and 14 universities in the federation. These schools employed so many Nigerians. Also, GEJ has revamped the textile industries and the railway system. They have employed many Nigerians too. Do I need to remind you of the automobile industries? Many have been employed by the automobile indiustries. The Agricultural sector has witnessed the greatest boom so far in terms of agricultural production in Nigeria. Loans and facilities provided to citizens to set up their farms. Such farms have provided much jobs to Nigerians. Do you know YOU-WIN programme? This too has helped Nigerians youths in no small measure. SURE-P too is another govt policy presently providing employment to citizens. And so many others.
Education: GEJ has established over 100 Almajiri schools and 14 universities in the federation. Name any president of Nigeria that has achieved this feat. Remember the scholarship for first class students in universities abroad. Also, govt has financed our tertiary institutions to upgrade facilities and provide conducive learning environments to the students. And many more.
Electricity: Believe it or not, this is one of the areas GEJ has performed well with the privatisation of the power industry. Though power supply is slow but some areas in the federation are witnessing improved power supply at the moment. With time I believe things will be better.
Accountability: This is the area we all wish things should be done in a better way. Govt tries to carry everybody along by passing the Freedom Of Information law. Information is now available on request to the public. For instance, federal revenue money shared to various states and LGAs in the federation are published in our local dailies to let the members of the public know unfortunately most citizens do not care to challenge their governors and local govt chairmen to account for such money. It is unfortunate that the morality has collapsed in the society and corruption is evident every where but we can't put all the blame on govt because our religious houses (churches/mosques) have become a breeding ground for corruption, the pastors believe in making money at the detriment of morality and godliness and they preach that to their followers. You will agree with me that the leadership of our churches/mosques have collapsed because most of us attend these places and are corrupt.

In conclusion, anyone who says GEJ has not achieved anything is not sincere. Any one who says Nigeria is not developing under president Jonathan has a hidden agenda. Such persons may have failed to study history of development in Nigeria. Also, such persons may only be falling for the political gimmicks of political opponents of president Jonathan. Let us all be good citizens, stop being corrupt in all areas of our lives and support president Jonathan.

Assess the govt of president Jonathan with an open mind and you will see that a lot has been achieved. Thank you.

Do you expect 100% score before you believe somebody passed an exam? Nothing in life is absolute. They are always constraints. Even in simple economics, our needs are enormous but the means to satisfying them are limited. So, we must have alternatives and do scale of preference.

I will advise you again to have an open mind in your assessment.

Re: Gej Must Go by juman(m):
Another president is needed to fix the power problem. If we have regular electricity, several millions of jobs would be created.

pdp is not capable to fix the power problem.

Clueless obj + clueless jonathan have spent over 25 billion dollars yet could not generate up to 3k megawatt. That over 25 billion dollars is enough to generate more than 22k megawatts. If we have even just 22k megawatts today in nigeria, we would be living happy life.

15 years was enough to generate enough electricity for 24/7 power supply, but pdp failed.

To hell with pdp, a wicked party.
