Yobe state capital, Damaturu is under heavy bombardment from boko haram!!!!.

Damaturu, the Yobe state capital has again come under intense assault by suspected Boko Haram militants, barely a month after a similar attack killed many residents.

Residents and security operatives said the city is currently under heavy gunfire and multiple explosions forcing people to cringe in their homes.

Umar Haruna, a civil servant residing in Damaturu told PREMIUM TIMES that the city and its residents have come under attack again.

He said the attack started at about 8p.m.

“We are under attack; gun shooting everywhere in Damaturu…we dont know what to do now,” he said.

A top security officer of the State Security Service, SSS, who refused to be because he was not authorised to speak, told our correspondent via SMS that “Yes, there is an attack going on here and I believe the soldiers and the police are containing the attacks.”

The attack is the second in the last two months on Damaturu.

The insurgents had launched a heavy attack on the capital on December 1, targeting the government house.

The attack was successfully repelled by the Nigerian security forces.

This is what Jonathan has made u to believe, where is that spirit of ONE NIGERIA? Book haram fighting hard to take at least one state before election.
They have failed with Maiduguri and admamawa now its yobe.
If book haram cannot win at least one state after four years of insurgency, they have failed. ISIS go laugh them tire. Because in less than a year ISIS took over half of Iraq and parts of Syria.

This is really worrisome, what happened to our military? Even if this Boko Haram is a world conspiracy against Nigeria, what then has happened to our Military? Why wait for BH to attack and then run, before coming back to dislodge the insurgents. Where did our military officers school? Are they quick to forget that the best form of defense is attack?

See the way BH killed Nigerians whom GEJ swore to protect, see they way dead bodies liter our streets in North East. And yet GEJ was asking GMB how he spent his defense budget saying GMB didn't buy a single rifle, what a stewpid talk from Mr President.
