I think my toyota corolla balloon consumes lots of fuel compared to my previous carina 2. This balloon i bought is fairly used but fuel of 4k takes me roughly about 290km. Please is this normal for this kind of toyota?

What engine type and size do you have in it? Is it manual or automatic? Is it city driving or highway driving?

City driving I used to get about 8km per liter when I had this type of car, it came with a 4E-FE engine, 1.4liter I'm guessin. 4k fuel is 41liters @ 290km you are doing roughly 7km per liter. Possibly a lot of traffic? Try on the highway and post results(hoping this is not highway driving )

Its Automatic transmission and i only drive it in the city. From what you said it seems the fuel consumption is not as bad as i thought. Please what year was this car manufactured because some say 1994 others say 1996.?
