Nne please don't formulate feed for broilers thst young,go and buy rainbow super starter and feed them for first four weeks. Then maybe you call call me to give you feed formulation I use after that. |

Whatever mixture or formulation you use, make sure the protein content of your protein source ( mostly Soybean meal) is 46%. This is key. Also, ensure that if you use soybean meal, that the urease activity is within acceptable range. |

laidyy:The urease activity shows whether the trypsin inhibitors in soyabean is rendered inactive during toasting. Trypsin is an enzyme involved in the breakdown of many different proteins, including as part of digestion in humans and other animals. If the Trypsin inhibitors are not rendered inactive, it can lead to poor growth of the chicks, poor quality eggs and even death of the chicken. The test can be done as simple as using a chemical known in the industry as Soycheck or by determining the urease index using a chemical process. I hope this helps. 1 Like |
