Now, how can the Arch diocesan secretariat not know that one of her priests was seriously beaten up by the Gov'nor's aide and is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital IF the report by ITV is true? Edo state is full of thuggish elements parading themselves as politicians.
Everyone in Benin city is a born criminal. The only person that has been able to bring an atom of sanity to Edo state is Oshiomole. Left to the others,Edo state would have been worse than Syria. Little wonder why the place look so disorganized.
The Edo will try you and see how tough your stance is. If you hesitate or waiver, bros, you are finished.
I have no doubt that Oshiomole is doing the right thing. He cannot let his state go to the dogs.

APC - Dictators in waiting.

If they're not destroying homes and telling poor people to "go and die", they're privatizing public facilities and selling them off to their cronies... Or installing toll gates and beating protesters black and blue with their hired thugs.

But what makes them worse than the average African dictator is that they're not just despotic; they're also liars who specialize in dangerous propaganda.

We've all witnessed the APC and their diabolical lying game here, taking a rotten, expired, half-past-dead dictator (Buhari) and trying to market the failure to the gullible as some sort of 'democrat'. Even going further to lie so openly that he built refineries and reduced inflation, and even married his daughter Amina (non-existent) off to a Southerner.

With Buhari's past attempts to kill press freedom, merging with APC's penchant for bare-faced lies, don't be surprised if these turn Nigeria into another North Korea where even the government openly lied to it's people last year that their North Korean national was going to the finals to face Portugal last year in Brazil.

Apparently due to the report by the Independent Television (ITV) on the beating of a Catholic Priest by aides to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, which was considered unprofessional, the Edo State Government on Tuesday withdrew the accreditation of the correspondent and cameraman of the station attached to the Government House.

In a letter to the General Manager, Independent Television (ITV), Benin City, owned by Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Special Adviser to the Governor, Mr. Kassim Afegbua, said: “You will recall our earlier discussion with you on the series of fabricated and adversarial reportage of issues in the state which has continued to misinform, misrepresent and confuse the people of the state.
