Buhari disclosed this at the APC national headquarters yesterday in Abuja.


He explained that the presidential expression of interest form was N2.5m while the presidential nomination form was N25.5m, making a total of N27.5m.

“You could recall in the entire contest, I have always tried to personally pay for the nomination form at least. But N27.5m is not small.

“Thank God, I have a personal relationship with the chairman of my bank. I called him and told him that the forms are coming and so, whether my accounts are in red or green or black, you must honour this, otherwise, I will lose the nomination.

@ Forwetinnah, you have the right to defend Jonathan, your choice but it is disappointing that while doing that you insulted the sensibility of the Ijaw population by justifying the incredible amount paid to those political thugs called militants like Tompolo instead of critically demanding that such benefit be extended to majority of the Ijaw (if it has to be sustained). I hold the opinion that The entire Niger Deltans need to be empowered, jobs created, favorable hiring policy with preference for the locals before "outsiders", I also subscribe to training of all our youths, both graduates and non-graduates and absolve them into these IOCs to perform specific tasks. I subscribe to the President embracing True Federalism so that we can have more say and benefits from our resources. Above all, I suscribe to the convocation of sovereign national conference where every ethnic nationality will sit and discuss the way forward. Aren't these more beneficial to the indigens? Which is morally justified between all these and what is presently obtained?

My dear, after the hausas,the igbos are the next tribe that excel at the tantalite business in Jos. Yorubas, Urhobos(a lot of them in Jos) also make plenty money from it. It's not about any Northern opposition but about the will of Govt to reduce our dependence on oil. Our govt is just inept otherwise they would have tried to regulate that industry and collect taxes.

The average Nigerian is corrupt and wishes to maintain the current state of unchecks. I know a lot of hausa muslim soldiers who partner the Niger Delta boys in the bunkering business and i can assure you they all want the status quo to remain.

Corruption has no tribe and if anything, this govt of GEJ for the past 5 years has shown us that.

I want an SNC not the charade that GEJ set up that will still be subject to whims and caprices of the criminals in the NASS.

I'm not voting buhari because i feel he's an angel. I'm voting him because we've spent 5 years with the devil called GEJ and i think it's time to try another devil.
