The issue here is that Gen Buhari(rtd) told Nigerians that he have only 1 million naira in His bank account. He also told Nigerians that he cannot afford to purchase the Apc Presidential nomination form of 27 Million naira.

Going by your calculation it shows that Buhari is indeed not only a corrupt Liar but a bloody one.

If Buhari by your calculation cannot afford ordinary 27 million naira inspite of the monthly pension fee of 23 million paid to him for the past 30 years it shows he is reckless with money and cannot be entrusted with the Economy of Nigeria

It is nobody's fault if an open opportunity isn't properly utilised, yes...i said alot because I've seen beneficiaries, especially the ex militants. Your friend's case is just one in thousands, was he an ex militant?? I studied Engineering too and I'm not here crying over scholarships as an Ijaw because most of my course mates have been lucky but I'm excited for them all the same.
If the Tompolo bonanza doesn't get to him, there are other avenues to get scholarships. Others have been lucky too with the NDDC scholarship scheme which has lately been polarized by non- Ijaws, once an opportunity opens up..you see all kinds of people flooding in. Your friend has to meet the right people handling things..if they can help non Ijaws,how much more an Okrikan? Same thing with the jobs, when you have the Buharis and Tinubus in key positions in the oil sector how do you expect an Ijaw man to get a headway?
