Ethiopia is an old Kingdom with a history that stems more than 3,000 years but it's struggling to reinvent itself successfully. It has made several attempts including changing political platform, system and even name (Abyssinia to Ethiopia).

I have a friend who recently returned from the capital, Addis Ababa, he started several positive things compared to Uganda and Kenya. I couldn't believe but apparently he knew what he was talking about. He said Addis Ababa was both cleaner and less corrupt than Kampala and Nairobi. He said doing business in Ethiopia is difficult compared to the two but once approved it will face less issues such as police asking for regular bribes etc.

Since Ethiopia is the second most populous nation after Nigeria, I feel its fair to compare the two.

We also know that Nigeria is notorious when it comes to corruption and bribery but I feel its infrastructure is far superior compared to Ethiopia's.

Who was responsible for Nigeria's key infrastructure?

Right now Ethiopia is getting the Chinese to do it but as you know they always do poor job. Most roads they built a year ago are already falling apart.

Ethiopia is a clean country with good infrastructure and social amenities but economically not bouyant. Imagine a country with only a single telecoms operator.

And they have very beautiful gals....

The highest con u can fall into is when a guy would meet u to act as ur guide and such guy takes u to places where u would be made to pay so much for so little things. Ppl DAT engage in this con are seen as the baddest guys in Addis ababa grin

Can u just imagine? huh
