Our choice is continuity, we will never elect a man that says he will rule like other PDP states shocked Ambode is our choice

I stay in surulere. Forget the hype, with what Lagos makes every month Fashola has done nada! The state makes money from taxing everyone for everything, including the roads! Yet we still have shanty towns springing up everywhere. See the Lagos secretariat in Ikeja, the place is a cesspit of corruption! APC corruption and nepotism. And u want another 8years of that?

I really do embrace continuation of what Fashola has started. Afterall, not everyone likes another 100% but to now gv Lagos governance to somebody new may spell disaster especially when the person holds the view of PDP leadership.

I wud prefer APC and any other articulate party to rule Lagos but definitely not a PDP dude.

APC -tinubu,fashola did a good job,but they have ruled for 16YEAR and Lagos is no mans property so I would want to see another man do the job. Agbaje is the perfect man for lagos, enough of jagabans total control. power should change hands all over the country, buhari for president, jimi for governor....JK OK

they're all talking nonsense, making promises that can't be made possible. Where are they going to generate funds from? getting more from oil revenue or the federal govt is not what a normal person should depend upon, however, making profits off of them by investing it wisely putting everybody to doing something for self. all in all, only APC came close, and the idea that he would continue what was ongoing seems ok, either good or bad.
On the PDP, He's lying, He can't get votes without the lagos mafia/area boys. so he wants to use them and dump them, while that is a good strategy, area boys might not be ph.d holders, but they are street wise and clever. that will be 4 years war meaning no peace. and if he is going to provide jobs for them, where will that fund come from? it will be like giving a drunk a job at the alcohol factory.

Even if the Medicine Store man is the best I don't trust his Oga Bode George, they will milk lagos dry... I prefer same set of thieves to continue than new one, a new one would try to outshine the previous and we suffer it more while the old one only compliments what he gat...

Talking about continuity,Ambode was never Fashola's choice. He is Tinubu's choice so he is going to continue Tinubu's programs not Fashola's.

I pity Ambo doe. He was made to defend the incumbent giving just little opportunity to outline his manifesto.

You are objective, keep up the fight even if Ambode wins, dont relent also if Agbaje wins. It is good that you find it difficult to place your hands on the umbellera.

5. Akinwumni Ambode, All Progressives Congress

As the candidate of the incumbent party, Mr. Ambode was placed on the defensive most of the time and this affected his performance during the debate. However,
he gave a good account of himself. With a boyish smile permanently stamped on his face, if he was worried by the attacks and taunts directed at him by the other contestants he did not show it. While he spent most of time explaining how he would make the policies of the incumbent
administration better, he did not articulate so much of his own original ideas.
He said public service is a noble service and promised to bring the wealth of experience he had garnered from over 25 years of
public service to running the state.
“I am an accountant you can count on me.
My call to you is to stand up and be counted.”
He said his vision for Lagos is that of leadership and accountability, good governance and quality service.
Mr. Ambode promised to build an
educational trust fund to carter for
unemployed youths in the state. He also promised to build studio apartments for the teeming youth of the state to ease the housing difficulty in the state.

Score: 10/10 | *******

Just whatthe pupolace have been glamouring for.isn't just about consultations and rallies,it also has to do with coming down to the common man, those who you solicite their support and votes. Questions laying waste beckoning for answers: if you are been voted in what are the things you would do for them when you ae elected into your desired positions, how would solve the problems/challenges facing the state you want to serve.
Is hightime we as a people stop being deceived by the money the so called politicials offer as a ransome for our votes. Let's listen to what they have to offer and hold them to their manifesto....stop being partisan and sentimental

Different strokes. Up until 3 months ago, I'd never heard of Ambode, and I was born in Lagos and spent most of my life here. I can't possibly vote for someone I don't know. Is he even from Ondo or Lagos? Agbaje I've known for a long time. The guy is articulate and knows the right things to say. My advice to u to to vote people you know, not people that are only contesting because they are loyal to Tinubu. One man can not sit in his house in Ikoyi and think he can decide who governs Lagos, its an insult to the 18million inhabitants of Lagos!

I don't quite get your point. Are you saying BRF performance and loss at the debate is inversely proportional? Besides, Fashola's government is quite elitisit, my only grouse against him.

My point is, being a candidate of the incumbent party, Ambode stands no chance of matching Agbaje with his manifesto cuz he'd be distracted with trying to answer questions to defend his party and when that happens, a smart opposition candidate will take him to the cleaners like what Agbaje did whereas, Ambode has an intimidating manifesto I encourage you to google and read.

About BRF being elitist, I think he tries to satisfy the elites so that their taxes can be used to cater for the Mainland. The elites pay more taxes, therefore, their would be a bias. That's what many dont understand.

The Yardstick is from this debate he scored 9/10.

That's the yard stick! Lagos is becoming too disorganised with the Alaye guys or touts going unchecked everywhere.

Lagos needs a proper structure and change!
