my laptop (toshiba) started misbehaving
and not being responsive and when i
force shut down it and rebooted it, it
tales like forever to display the 'toshiba
leading innovation>>> logo' and then it
brongs a message that my computer
has ran into an error and needs to
restart... and it continuied in a cycle..
but today to my suprise, i turned it on
and it loaded to the part where i input
my password (after long time though)
and after inputing the password( though
already finished typing the password
before a character was displayed, just to
emphasize its non responsiveness) it
started after battling with the enter
key.
now finally it loaded the desktop amd
the mouse was moving freely...but
when i rigjt clicked on the desktop to
refresh, omo na war oo... had to wait
for like 30mins for it to bring the
options and then i refreshed, this one
took just like 3mins though... i then
tried to open a folder, omo i ate, and
sleep before this one even open... plz
what is wrong with my laptop??

Do you have a restore disc?

Try booting into safe mode and perform a system restore.. Buh make sure you read the instructions and information properly before restoring

Boot up us system and press f several times as it comes on... U shud see instructions for getting into safe mode

Not quite yet.. Enter the safe mode... Search for system restore (start then type system restore)... Open it and follow the instructions

aiit will try that later....
what i also noticed is that after it goes on and hangs for like some couple of hours, it starts to respond normally back... and I thought that it is probably back to normal but when I restarted it, it did the same thing again and after some time it responds normally again...

the solution for a system restore is sound. but the issue is that it maybe a spyware or virus.. if this is the case then a system restore using the onboard restore software will just be a short term solution cause the virus would infect the restore partition on Ur drive. in this case a disc reformatting and restore would work better..
and when Ur done pls install a good antivirus software if u have none... bit defender, kaspersky and Norton internet security will suffice.

thanks a lot for the advice, already restored the system with a new windows 8 software, since I dont really have much of files I need there....
and about the antivirus, can you suggest how to use them for free, cause I had norton but the free version expired, and I was asked to subscribe..

Download AVG(trial version) and send a PM for activation till 2018.
