Even as a priest I won't be too bothered if this has always been his stand, my worry was the fact that he praised the president when his wife came to the prayer ground but barely one month later he said the opposite. If he said his later comment was a massage from God, where was his first praise from?. That made him seem like a double edged sword, and was probably doing some eye service the day the first lady visited. Smh

For me, am not really surprised... Its not today he started making controversial statemnt.

my problem is not in d "childish" manner he spoke, there is canon law against priest in politics, on two occasion he tries to preach politics from the pulpit, first he say to vote for jonathan (d man wey e say God dey e back), then he says there is need for change. A priest should never attempt to politicisied his sermons like that, giving prophesy to politicians on election outcome and calling another party "bokoharam party".

All those deserve to get him sanctioned, but i believe he and the enugu bishop are pals, besides he gets support from many in the enugu prebyterium. He pulls enough influence to give a bishop nighmares. I don't think he will recieve any sanction.

I wanted to ask, how often do u say novena prayers on your own? I have a testimony about Novena to Our Lady of Good Remedy.
Late last year I was experiencing financial crisis so much that I had to sell my phone and still do some stressful work like doing people's project in school. Not forgetting that i was equally writing my project and seminar. Thank God I finished well and went back home. I was feeling very bad about my condition and decided to say the novena for 9days + fasting from 6-12. I made special requests and specific days I wanted those things and I wasn't disappointed at all. I honestly couldn't contain my joy so I decided to tell my family and also tel u, my brethren.
I want to encourage those who have special requests to try and say the rosary and some novenas because it surely helps and don't forget to have FAITH.

Am a fan of novena... Esp to our lady... Most favourite is "novena to our lady undoer of knot"

I'm just sharing my testimony because I was amazed. Imagine giving Our Lady a date and it just happened that same day.

This testimony is about FAITH and MASS.
In year 1 or 2, I had just #100 and I was going for midweek mass, I decided to breakdown d money and use #50 for offering. A man that sells in my hostel refused to help break it down so I got angry and took it to church, before offering I said God, u know I'm low on cash please I need this money in a 100 fold by tomorrow. As I left church, my mum called and said aah she is sorry she'll send me 10k d next day. All I could do was smile and say Thank you Jesus.
In year 1 also, my course mate brought Agbami scholarship form for us to buy and apply. I had just #500 and d form was sold for #300, a friend tried discouraging me and I was also tinkn of d fact that d money is my last card. I almost returned d form to take back my #300 then I said no need lemme just give it a shot.
I told God again, u know this #500 is all I have, buying this form will leave me with #200 please see me through. I was invited for the exam after some months, I went for it then I waited and waited till I forgot about it. After 2nd year, God surprised me! A friend called and said my name is on d list. My joy was inexplicable! I was paid for year 1 and 2 @ a go!
Finally God does so many things for us therefore we ought to always be grateful.

I guess not... And it depends on the novena... You can decide to start your own 9 or even 1mnth mass novena, wch means you got to attend mass for the days of the novena... Just ur choice. The last one I did, mass isnt part of it.

I don't think so. All the novenas I do, I just do it in my room.
