Good day all, please those that have successfully applied to university of manitoba how did you go about the application fee payment? i use GTB master card but am kind of lost in the billing address page, reasons being that its all canadian addresses which my card is associated to none. i too applied to usask and i havn't heard from them for over 3months! i tried calling them to enquire about my pre app status but i keep getting voice mail, also they didn't reply any of my mails. from their minimum requirements, i should be qualified for their MSc. i don't just know what is happening

Inkblood:
hello guys. please i need help on getting a course. my initial application was rejected for some reasons which i am trying to tackle. one of those reasons was my course. i have a beng in electrical engineering, and i applied for graduate certificate in projects management. now i want to get admission in electrical engineering and its seeming impossible. i have a 2"2 so cant do masters, i have to apply for a pgd in electrical engineering. however despite all the search i have been doing for about 7 weeks now, i could only find one school that does pgd in electrical engineering(i dont know if i am doing it wrong), and that is uni of saskatchewan. i applied with their prequalilfication form and havent heard from them for over 6 weeks now. what i need is to know a school that does pgd in electrical engineering so i can apply before i run out of time as most schools seem to be ending application in march. i would really appreciate any help please. i have checked so many schools, even used that university finder. only seen saskatchewan so far. any info that could be helpful please. thanks guys.

Hi, I would advice you to get NECO scratch card, send to MUN to enable them check the result online or see if you can get your school to write them and state you were taught in English language.
izuafa1:
Hello house
Please am having some little issues with my application, last year I was given admission into MUN, but was delayed visa, I contacted them and told them about the situation and I would love to defer my admission for next fall, I was replied and told that I can't defer my admission that all I need to do is to pay for my application again and my past documents will be used. (I did not pay for my tuition fees). Now I have applied again and paid my application fees but MUN are asking for prove of English language asking me to provide TOEAL or IELTS, and my NECO result must be sent directly from NECO office. Please has anyone applied recently to MUN and facing these challenges. Thanks

@shyee by God grace and power, you will get your admission to MUN. I was just stating how the admission process rolls quicker with a secured advisor. I know getting one is super hard. All the best bro.

What do you want to study?
Is it for PG or Ug? When you have an ans, Please Google "list of schools in Canada" and see which of the schools meet your need. Then you can ask further questions.

Please I am new to this forum.

I need help (information) about my chances (at the embassy) of taking my family(my wife and son) along with me when going for PHD. (Please has anybody been given a student visa before at the embassy with his family?)

I just want to know if to try going with my family or go alone ( I just applied for the PHD. I hope, I get the admission by God's grace)

This was my first post

What documents or what are my chances for visa at the Canadian Embassy of carrying my family along for my PHD.

Has anybody applied before for himself and family for study (PHD)?

Your chances are slim. In fact that's a red flag, and can lead to refusal of visa. Apply alone and go first, when you get there you can then invite your family to join you. Traveling with your family will automatically tell the VO that you're not coming back. Meanwhile on the other hand, you can apply with your family by proving to the VO that you have sufficient fund to cater for your family in Canada without taking a job while studying. Either way, the choice is yours. But my advice is, Apply and go alone first, then your family will join you later. That's your best shot.

Good Morning All and Happy new year. I have been following this thread for sometime now. I have read from past posts . I have gathered some insights, advises, counsels etc that are really educative. i gues i have not reached the stage where some of you are . infact, i am yet to apply for my own course. I intend to further my education having been working for almost 7years now. I think its time for me to go back to school. long story short, I have a 2.1 in foreign languages and i have been working in HR. I want to continue my HR career and i need to boost my education. i have found 3 schools thus -Uni of regina for masters in HR, Uni of lethbridge for 2nd degree in HR and Uni of calgary for certificate in HR program. I intend to apply for sept 2016 session.

Any or further advise concerning other schools will be appreciated. Also, general advise on application processes will be highly appreciated.

Congrats to all who are waiting for i know it will surely come to pass.

Hey,

Check out this link.

http://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=human resources&description_language=ENGLISH&program_level_merged=Master's+degree&cipcode_description=Human resources management/personnel administration, general

I think your program level shouldn't fall below Masters level if you really want to boost your education.

Hi Everyone, please does anyone know how one can apply to canadian universities that offers international student scholarship for undergraduate studies?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by cherie24(f): 2:09pm On Jan 23, 2015
@Bamz...Many thanks... quite a help. Since my st degree is not in mgt or sociology or psycology or any of the sciences, it might be a bit difficult to be accepted with my 1st degree background. So those schools i highlighted above are those accepting without considering your 1st degree course.

Anybody else intrested in HRM masters? either applying or gotten admission. I will be grateful and happy to read from you
