I strongly recommend that you do your research before misleading people @ severusSnape. The British/American use of both is not all there is to their difference.

Its ok to disagree. They are similar, no doubt, and not everyone agrees that there is any difference between them. But really, if the letter "A" and "a" have similarities and differences, are they the same in any way at all ? "A" is definitely not "a", SIMPLE.
