According to 1cor 14:33-35, i think it is a sin for a woman to be a pastor, lady evangelist among others which is rampant today. Share your views! |

1 Corinthians 14:33-35 King James Version (KJV) 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. What part of these verses forbid women from Pastoring, evangelizing.....? |

The Bible specifically states that a WOMAN OUGHT TO KEEP SILENT IN THE CHURCH. For Pete's sake, the man is the head of the woman. Why should a woman lord it over a man in the church? The Bible is very clear and precise. There is nothing more to say. 1 Like |

Acts21 and Exodus15.... 5 of phillip's Virgin daughters were prohetess and also Mariam was a prophetess respectively.To whom were they prophesying if i may ask? Good question. Quite unfortunate that we are leaving in an era of "gender equality". The truth is that it is unscripturally baseless to appoint a woman as a pastor evangelist, deaconess or whatever. Never in the whole bible will you see God appointing a woman as a "priestess" in His temple. The appointment of women as priestess is copied from the temples of the pagan gods. When Jesus came, there were morally sound women and yet never appointed any as an apostle. Real. Christian women know their place in the ministry.
