Prices should be in the mid range especially for a product just coming into the technology market of this nation.

18k is not bad for a start.

20k is ok for the s200. The Tecno H6 which has similar specs goes for 16k.

We are a new company and we do have a lot of cost, hopefully as the phone saturates the Nigerian market we will be able to adjust the price.

We are targeting the middle and lower income earners. We believe that the market will embrace Cubot especially considering Tecno's strategy to focus on high end phones.

Check innjoo note, tecno l6,with better spec or almost same spec their prices is lower, that s200 shouldn't be above 22k most

I understand your reservations Chimezie250, but it is always important to understand that a has to cover it's cost as well as make reasonable profits. Tecno's customers do not always receive good after sales support, we are different in that respect.

The only things you really have them beat are in the front camera, and battery - which is why I suggested an increase in price by 4k. RAM, Storage, Processors, and display tech are all exactly the same. Having a higher resolution won't really mean much by the end of the day to the regular user.

The price of 27k is too high there are better phones one can buy for less than that. you can get the S200 or similar phone for as low as 20k from some importers here on naira land, check the technology market section.

We have the exclusive distribution for cubot, the current suppliers are in breach if they are supplying the product. Those suppliers also do have lower cost. They also don't take into account the fluctuation in foreign exchange.
