So i read every response to what Buhari said on this thread. So far, no one has been able to tell us why his job creation plans using the coal deposits in Enugu will fail. No facts and figures to criticize his plans. What we see is ethnic prejudice and outright hate for no reason.

Maybe Nigerians deserve Jonathan after all.

sister, we call them children of hatred and anger.. They will all fail together with their clueless boss believe me baby!

So many bullish!t talk from jona-daft supporters.

GEJ said he created over 1million jobs, yet the youth are jobless

Buhari is trying to explore other options aside from oil and some useless Igbo youth are yarning dust as if when it starts to function, they won't enjoy from its benefit

This shows that GEJ's daftness has been passed to majority in the east and south south undecided

The mining of solid minerals in Nigeria accounts for less than 1% of GDP (2010), since oil and gas dominate the nation’s extractive industry. The main solid minerals in Nigeria’s mining industry include coal, tin, niobium and gold. In 2010, Nigeria produced an estimated 21,200 metric tons of aluminium, 600 kg of gold, 50,000 metric tons of iron ore, 450,000 metric tons of bituminous coal, 190 metric tons of niobium (columbium) and 230 metric tons of tin (US Geological Survey).

According to the World Bank, in 2005 11.5% of employees worked in ‘industry’, a category which comprises mining and quarrying (including oil production), manufacturing, construction, and public

China today is suffering from extreme pollution and health problems as a result of using non renewable sources of electricity such as coal.. almost every country including African countries are looking into and developing renewable sources of energy. Buhari wants to take us back to the stone age. .
he lacks the modern thinking we need. .. why didn't he propose focusing on capital investments in the gas sector to reduce gas flaring and generate power as well. Why not focus on increasing the capacity of dams to generate power. .. How can he even create 1 million jobs from this idea, what is the population of enugu to start with. ..any right thinking person knows this his promise is a crappy and unfeasible one..

1. Coal use in industry and power production is one of the major contributors to global warming by the industrial world. Both the heat from burning the coal and the greenhouse gases released during combustion are counted as major factors in the global warming crisis.

2.
Coal mining techniques are often very damaging to the surrounding natural habitats. Strip mining is one of the most environmentally devastating mining procedures, is a common way of getting at coal deposits.

3.
Other toxins are released from the burning of coal that can be dangerous to the health of nearby populations. People with asthma are particularly sensitive to many of these pollutant.

4.
Coal is a major source of several pollutants including carbon dioxide, a green house gas, and sulfur dioxide, a component of acid rain.

You people will not destroy us behind.; Why we don't need his stupid plan to poison us slowly. We are looking for new ideas, new energy resources, not your yeye 1983 ideas undecided
